I hope everyone had a great Father's Day, if you celebrated it, and/or a great first day of summer! I think Mother Nature took that as her cue to kick up the heat here, because I'm about to die, it's so hot and humid x.x
Let's get caught up on manis :) Today's mani is for one of this week's prompt for the 52 WPNMC, scales. This was pretty broad, as it could mean scaly creatures or musical scales. I chose the scaly creatures, as I don't have a stamping plate with musical scale images on it.
My base was Zoya Marion, from their latest mystery trio. The color is similar to OPI's Next Stop....Bikini Zone, but isn't quite the same. I stamped over that with an image from Messy Mansion MM21, in Essie Penny Talk. The stamping is more subtle than I intended.

I combined Stamping Sunday's prompt, large flowers, with a prompt for the PAA Mani Monday, summer. Here's what I came up with. I sponged Morgan Taylor's in Making Waves, Go For the Glow, Watt Yel-lookin' At?, and Pink Flame-ingo over All White Now. Neons= summer. I stamped large flowers from Messy Mansion MM20 in MdU black over that. Ta-da!
For Sunday, I took the easy way for the 30DoCC. The prompts for that day were red and/or pond mani. I simply did a red mani with Zoya Demetria and Aphrodite.

Saturday, I had some running around to do and a family thing to go to in th afternoon, so I did up my nails :) Used OPI neons and a Sally Hansen matte glitter. Hotter Than You Pink and My Car Has Navy-gation over Put a Coat On!, with Eyelet over HTYP.
Last Friday's mani was the other prompt for last week's 52 WPNMC, glitter. The base color is Zoya Violet, another from their latest mystery trio. On accents, I sponged Candy Lacquer Unicorn Bubbles (which I regretted using upon removal lol).

Last Thursday's mani was a surprise like for me. It was 30DoCC mani, the prompts being texture/geometric. I haven't had any new texture polishes to share lately, until I came across someone purging her stash and kindly sending out polishes to those that asked for them. She had three of the China Glaze textures, the ones that were cremes, not glitters. I figured, why not?
I never like any of the "popcorn ceiling" textures in the swatches I saw online, so I was very surprised that I liked the one I used for this mani, which was Of Coarse!. The geometric pattern is from Pet'la Geomatrix, stamped in MdU neon green.

So, it is officially spring here in SWFL, even though most of up north is still experiencing winter weather. I'm kinda jealous of that, winter didn't last long at all here. There are many times I wished further north :P
The first mani I want to show you I'm quite proud of. It was for a Monkey See Monkey Do challenge for Advanced Nail Stamping. I had a hard time picking one to copy; there were several I loved, but I decided on this one:
I don't know the specifics of ^^^that mani, as far as colors and stamping plates used, so I pretty much winged it. I started with a base of OPI's Alpine Snow, then a coat of Seche. The closest colors I have for the water marble were, I thought, OPI's In My Back Pocket and I Just Can't Cope-cabana.
My butterflies came from Messy Mansion MM42, stamped with MdU black. For the glitter, I used Zoya Alma and a dotting tool. Everything was topped again with Seche.
This week's Stamping Sunday theme was purple and orange. This was tricky, because unless you're really into Halloween (I'm not, not like a lot of people I know lol), purple and orange can end up looking very Halloweeny.
I chose to keep my base colors light; I used Zoya Dillon with Zoya Hudson for accents. Over the Hudson accents, I stamped an Easter image from Bundle Monster BM-H08 and MdU orange, and finished with Seche.
I actually didn't really care for this mani, but a lot people on IG seemed to like it lol.
Textured Friday was an oldie, but a goodie. Zoya Arabella graced my nails.
Thursday's mani was another Easter-y one. The base for this one was a new to me yellow, Morgan Taylor's Ahead of the Game. Now, I love this yellow. It has a subtle silver shimmer that adds depths to it. The formula isn't great, since it is yellow, but it's not horrible either. My base was three coats, followed by a coat of Seche. My ring and middle fingers served as accents, and received a sponging of Candy Lacquer's Candy Confetti. The others were stamped over with Messy Mansion mm08 and MdU white. Everything was topped with Seche again.
Wednesday was a matte flakie kind of a day. I chose a vampy red for my base, Zoya Mikka. I received Mikka as a GWP, and I like it :) My flakie of choice was KBShimmer's Rainbow Shield. A coat of Seche, then a coat of Wet 'N Wild matte topcoat.
And now, my simple but pretty St. Patrick's mani. Colors used were Zoya Sage and Tomoko.

Boy, this year has certainly flown by; I can't believe it's already December! I guess that means I've had a busy year XD It doesn't really feel like it has been, well, at least no busier than usual, I suppose lol. Work has been busy, though, which has kept me posting to just once a week, so I have a week's worth of manis to show y'all :)
Let's start with Textured Friday's offering. I used three coats of the pretty purple Zoya Thea for my base, and stamped over with present images from Winstonia's Merry Christmas plate and MdU silver.
Thursday's mani was bright and festive, using a bright summer creme and a mixed sized circle glitter. The creme was Wait 'N Sea from China Glaze (which stained my nails upon removal) and the glitter was Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree from Candy Lacquer. Because of the glitter, I needed two coats of Seche to smooth it out.

I regard Wednesday's mani as something of a fail. It certainly didn't come out how I pictured in my head, I think I should have used a different base or something. Anyways, it was 2 coats of Zoya Celine and a single coat of Finger Paints' Hollywood Decadence. HD is very similar to OPI's More Than a Glimmer. It dries matte just like Glimmer does, but I added a matte coat to my mani anyways.
In one of on the groups I'm in, on FB, this week's challenge was a radial gradient. There aren't many tutorials on it, but I recalled seeing a pic weeks ago of one. How I did mine was this:
I started with a white base, Zoya Purity, which got topcoated. On a makeup sponge, I made a dot of Purity, then circled it with Zoya Prim. I then sponged it onto my nail, going over it as many times as it needed, twice for this mani. I almost stamped over after I topped again, but I decided against it.
I was really on the fence about this mani, but I think with practice, I could get the hang of this particular style gradient.
Last week or the week before, I don't remember which, I received two new polishes from I Love Nail Polish. One of them I've already worn, Champagne Blush. The other, Black Orchid, I paired with one of their multichromes, Undenied, for Monday's mani. Two coats each, then topcoat.

So, anyone that knows me, knows that I do not like brown polish on me. I do like how it looks on other people, most of the time, but I have never liked on me. Most browns was too warm for my skintone and just look yucky. That is, until Zoya's Naturel and Naturel Deux. Those two collections had me trying colors outside my comfort zone, including the chocolately Emilia.
Even before I saw swatches, I knew I had to have this color. It appeared to be less warm than most other dark browns I've seen, which is what attracted me to Emilia. This is the first brown I've intentionally purchased...... and I don't regret. Emilia is just fabulous on the nail, and I love it. Application and formula were just perfect. I seriously thought about leaving it be, but I wanted to do a glitter gradient, so I did lol. Two coats of Emilia, a coat of Seche, and a gradient with A Little Bubbly from Candy Lacquer, then two more coats of Seche.
On Monday, I sported what I think is my best water marble yet. Funny part is, it was created when we lost power Sunday afternoon lol. I had just finished my base color, Zoya Purity, and was cleaning it up when the power went. It wasn't even storming at our house at the time, it was further away, but out it went. I still had light from my bedroom window, so I just pushed on and water marbled.
The colors I used I had been dying to use together since I got them- Zoya Alexa, Cole, and Edie. They worked beautifully together, I must say!
Stamping Sunday's theme happened to be one of my favorite things to stamp right: geometrics. I kept it simple, as a basic black and white mani to start. Zoya Purity and Black Swan were the base colors, Mundo de Unas black and white to stamp with, and my VL-2 plate from aliexpress for the image. A coat of Seche followed by a coat of Morgan Taylor's Matte's a Wrap finished it off.
