Happy Tuesday!

Good afternoon! I hope you week is off to a good start. Mine's not too bad :) Here are my mani offerings to you so far!

Today's mani is...... I don't know. For whatever reason, I just don't care for it that much, and it's not as if I used colors I dislike. Maybe it's simply a matter of it's not what I wanted, I don't know. Anyways, it's a jelly sandwich, starting with a coat of OPI's Suzy Says Feng Shui, two coats of OPI's Polka.com, and a coat of China Glaze's Ride the Waves. All topped with Seche.

Yesterday's mani, however, I absolutely loved. I'm very proud of how it turned it, since I've had similar manis turn out not so nice. The base was 2 coats of Zoya Darcy and a coat of Seche. Once it was dry to the touch, I created a gradient with Darcy and Zoya Thandie, cleaned it up, and let it dry. I stamped over that using Vivid Lacquer plate VL 002 and Milani Black Swift, and added dots with Milani White on the Spot. Instead of Seche, I used Out the Door's Northern Lights.

Sunday's Stamping Sunday challenge was very simple: over a pink base. So, I first did 2 coats of Zoya Katy. I just love this pink. Topped Seche, then stamped using my Handy 31 and 32, with OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark. Another coat of Seche and done!

A late Happy Easter!

So, I had every intention of posting manis before today; sadly, that just didn't happen. Because of that, I've got four manis to show off, including my Easter mani. Let's get started!

Sunday was, of course, Easter, and the Stamping Sunday challenge was Easter themed. I was all set to do a stamped mani for it, but I changed my mind the day before on what I wanted my base to look like. That base looked so good, to me, that I decided not to stamp over it. I created a water marble using all Zoya colors- Malia, Josie, Shelby, and Yummy, the dots being Sharon. This was done over a base of Purity and topped with Out the Door's Northern Lights. 

My camera must have decided to be retarded this week, because some of my pics are kinda blurred >.< Sorry about that.

For Monday, I did a pink gradient, also using all Zoya colors- Shelby, Fergie, and Reagan. Topped with Seche.

Tuesday featured a stamped neon mani. Three coats of China Glaze's Turned Up Turquoise over White on White, a coat of Seche, Vivid Lacquer VL011, Milani Black Swift, and another coat of Seche.

And, lastly, Wednesday's mani was a bit simpler. It was two coats of OPI's Red Hot Rio (which is gorgeous, by the way!) and one coat of Snowflakes in the Air, also OPI, topped with Seche.

Stamping Sunday!

Good evening! I hope everyone has had a great weekend :) Mine was mostly uneventful..... except for chopping my hair off yesterday! That was the most excitement I had lol.

Today's Stamping Sunday theme was quite simple: pastels. This mani was rather quick and easy in coming up with. I knew exactly what colors I wanted to use as soon as the theme was put up. I did a gradient as my base, using Zoya Dot, Cole, and Pippa, topped with Out the Doors Northern Lights in silver.

Let me just say, I LOVE how this gradient came out. I almost didn't stamp over it, it looked so amazing. I did get a pic of it before I stamped :)

But stamped I did, using one of my new Messy Mansion plates, MM21, in Maybelline's Bold Gold. I topped it with Seche.

I've got today's Stamping Sunday challenge and Friday's textured mani that I had forgotten to get posted xD


Ok, today's SS challenge called for something glitzy glammy. A lot of different things come to mind when I think of glitz and glam, but one that stands out is peacocks, in particular peacock feathers. I personally love peacock feathers and have them scattered around my home :) So, it seemed I was set to that.

I started with 2 coats of China Glaze's Seaspray as my base. Seaspray is a pretty, dolphin like grey. I topped with Seche and let that dry a good while. I've got two sizes of peacock feather, single ones anyways, and went with the smaller one on Winstonia W108, stamped using China Glaze Jolly Holly. I added the "eye" using a dotting tool and Zoya Song. I also added some gold dots in China Glaze Midnight Kiss. As a final touch, I topped with Northern Lights.

Now, Friday's textured mani look featured OPI's Alcatraz...Rocks Liquid Sand. This is a gorgeous and unique color. In the bottle, it appears to purple with red flashes. On the nail, definitely grey with gold glitters. For my mani, I only needed 2 coats for it to look nice.

I know the first pic is blurry, but it really shows the gold sparkles in it that the other two pics don't show.

About this week being tamer than last week >.>

Good evening! I had a rather unexpectedly crazy week again, leaving me with little time for posting manis. Last weekend, I was totally uninspired for Stamping Sunday, never mind that the theme chosen was something I was waiting to do until yesterday, so I had nakey nails until Monday. Wasn't able to get any pics of that mani because, well, we had nasty, nasty weather here most of the week. It finally settled back down into our usual summer weather, but still.

So, I do have 3 manis to show you tonight, let's get to them! First, is yesterday's patriotic Fourth of July mani. All colors used are from Zoya. My base colors were Purity and Ibiza, stamped colors were Sooki and Trixie. I added a coat of Out the Door's Northern Lights to the Ibiza/Trixie combo :) Stamping plate used was Winstonia W107.

Excuse the awkward, dominant hand pics, I jacked up the stamping on my other hand and just didn't fix it :P

Now, since I worked on Wednesday, I did do something patriotic that wasn't that ^ mani. I found at Walmart, several weeks ago, this pretty glitter from Pure Ice. It has two different sized red hexs, larger blue hex, and silver stars. This is certainly one you need dab on, and fish for the stars. I layered it over OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls. I didn't need to add a coat of Gelous before the Seche. I did matte it, though, with OPI's Matte Topcoat.

And lastly, is another glitter, this one from Maybelline. They've released, within the Color Show line, a set of 5 polishes called Polka Dots. They're all colored, jelly bases with mixed size, black and white matte hexes. The one I'm showing you is Blue Marks the Spot, although I went back and got Drops of Jade and Pretty in Polka. For my mani, I did three coats of Blue with one Gelous and one Seche. Personally, I'll be layering them the next time I use one. These you will need to dab on.

I found the Polka Dots at Walgreens last weekend, and they're on sale right now BOGO 50% off. I'm happy to see another mainstream company catching on to the matte glitter (as opposed to the textured glitter, Pixie Dusts or Liquid Sand) trend. I'm still waiting to find the Salon Perfect Neon Collision matte glitters at one of my Walmarts >.>

A couple stamped manis!

I know I haven't posted since last week. I've been a little busy and stressed out about my stupid  Jeep. I managed to get my nails all nice and pretty a few though :)

I'll start with last Friday's mani. I really love how it turned out. Base color is 2 coats of Zoya Robyn with one coat of Girly Bits' Cosmic Ocean, followed by Seche. This was the first time I've stamped butterfly wings, so it's not quite straight, but it's not horrible. The image I used is my Vivid Lacquer 002 plate and the stamping color is Zoya Ibiza. I used my dotting tools and Zoya Purity for the dots.

Now for my Stamping Sunday mani. The chosen theme was my profession; unfortunately, I don't have any plates with images for what I do. So, I decided to do my first Valentine's Day mani. Base color is 2 coats of Zoya Reagan with Zoya Purity sponged on the tips. Seche before stamping. The stamped image is from MASH 48, the color is Black Creme from Wet 'N Wild.

And now for yesterday's mani. It was another Valentine's mani, but with purple this time. Base is 2 coats of China Glaze's Sweet Hook. I was very surprised it only needed two coats, since most pastel cremes are notoriously streaky. Sweet Hook isn't, though. I topped with Seche before I stamped, so the base was dry. The stamped image is from Bundle Moster 303, the color is Chanel Vendetta. For the dots, I used my dotting tools and Zoya Carly and Suri. This mani is topped with Northern Lights.

Can I tell you how much I hate topping with Northern Lights after I stamp? I tried so hard to keep that brush off my image and it still smeared. Makes me crazy >.> Overall, though, I love how this turned out. I'll be doing at least one more Valentine's mani, I'm sure; I have one planned for that day.
