I hope everyone had a great Father's Day, if you celebrated it, and/or a great first day of summer! I think Mother Nature took that as her cue to kick up the heat here, because I'm about to die, it's so hot and humid x.x
Let's get caught up on manis :) Today's mani is for one of this week's prompt for the 52 WPNMC, scales. This was pretty broad, as it could mean scaly creatures or musical scales. I chose the scaly creatures, as I don't have a stamping plate with musical scale images on it.
My base was Zoya Marion, from their latest mystery trio. The color is similar to OPI's Next Stop....Bikini Zone, but isn't quite the same. I stamped over that with an image from Messy Mansion MM21, in Essie Penny Talk. The stamping is more subtle than I intended.

I combined Stamping Sunday's prompt, large flowers, with a prompt for the PAA Mani Monday, summer. Here's what I came up with. I sponged Morgan Taylor's in Making Waves, Go For the Glow, Watt Yel-lookin' At?, and Pink Flame-ingo over All White Now. Neons= summer. I stamped large flowers from Messy Mansion MM20 in MdU black over that. Ta-da!
For Sunday, I took the easy way for the 30DoCC. The prompts for that day were red and/or pond mani. I simply did a red mani with Zoya Demetria and Aphrodite.

Saturday, I had some running around to do and a family thing to go to in th afternoon, so I did up my nails :) Used OPI neons and a Sally Hansen matte glitter. Hotter Than You Pink and My Car Has Navy-gation over Put a Coat On!, with Eyelet over HTYP.
Last Friday's mani was the other prompt for last week's 52 WPNMC, glitter. The base color is Zoya Violet, another from their latest mystery trio. On accents, I sponged Candy Lacquer Unicorn Bubbles (which I regretted using upon removal lol).

Last Thursday's mani was a surprise like for me. It was 30DoCC mani, the prompts being texture/geometric. I haven't had any new texture polishes to share lately, until I came across someone purging her stash and kindly sending out polishes to those that asked for them. She had three of the China Glaze textures, the ones that were cremes, not glitters. I figured, why not?
I never like any of the "popcorn ceiling" textures in the swatches I saw online, so I was very surprised that I liked the one I used for this mani, which was Of Coarse!. The geometric pattern is from Pet'la Geomatrix, stamped in MdU neon green.

I've got just two manis to show off tonight, but they both feature new polishes. Let's get started!
I opted out of my Textured Friday mani this week, simply because I didn't have any new textures to show :P I chose to use a new glitter topper I picked a few weeks ago, The Outer Edge from the The Giver collection by China Glaze. Honestly, it was pretty much the only one I wanted from that collection, because it's matte white glitter with a sprinkling of silver glitter. I wore one coat of it over two coats of Fuchsia Fanatic from China Glaze, but I bet you could prolly wear it alone. A single coat of Seche made it nice and smooth.
The next mani is from Wednesday, and it featured a new to me color, Zoya Kimmy. Zoya calls Kimmy a candy apple red, but I disagree. On me it, Kimmy is a gorgeous, fiery autumn orange with lots of sparkle. It does have strong red undertones, but it certainly isn't red. Anyways, two coats for this mani and a coat of Seche. I couldn't bring myself to stamp over it, it was so beautiful.

Good afternoon! I have a few manis to show off today, especially one I completely spaced on posting Friday. Time definitely got away from me, which happens. Let's get rolling!
Today featured two Zoya colors, one new and one from the Awaken collection this past spring. I couldn't tell you why, because normally I avoid nudes/neutrals like the plague, but I have been loving Zoya's Naturel collections this year. So much so that I'm only missing just one of the colors. I couldn't tell you why they appeal to me so much, when others just don't, but these do. So when Zoya debuted the Naturel Deux, I snagged up half of it in one order, then the other three not two weeks later.
On my nails today are 2 coats of Chanelle with a coat of Monet sponged over it. Application for Chanelle was perfect. I've found Monet is best applied sponged because it is so thick and can quickly become a hot, bubbly mess. Topped with Seche to smooth things out.
Yesterday was Labor Day here in the US, and in honor of that, I did up something of a patriotic mani, trying out something I've seen done and talked about for a while now: water marbling with clear polish.
It started off with 3 coats each of China Glaze's Dorothy Who? and Ruby Pumps topped with Seche. I wanted to marble white over these to create red/white and blue/white nails. I had come across months ago a water marbled mani very similar to what I wanted to do, and the poster had used clear polish. Not topcoat, but just clear polish, like what most cheap brands carry. For mine, I used OPI's Alpine Snow and Sinful Colors Clear. It was no different marbling with the clear as opposed to other colors. Topped with Seche to finish.
Stamping Sunday's theme this week over a striped background. I had a hard time coming up with something; everything I came up with in my head looked very "nautical" to me. I think even my end result looked like it, so it didn't last long lol.
The base color for the mani was 2 coats of the bright ass Zoya Ali. The stripes were stamped in Mundo de Unas white from my VL-2 plate from aliexpress. Over the stripes I stamped a flowers image from the same plate in Mundo de Unas navy and topped everything with Seche.
Last Friday was Michael Jackson's birthday. If he was still living, he would have been 56. I have always loved his music, so I chose to a tribute mani. The base color is 2 coats of Smooth Criminal from Colors by Llarowe. SC was launched last in tribute to Michael, and on Friday she launched another tribute collection. I picked up a color from that one as well and can't wait to get it.
The images I used were from an entire plate dedicated to MJ by Chez Delaney, stamped in Mundo de Unas white. A coat of Seche finished it off.

*raises a glass* Here's to the end of another long week >.< I'm so glad that season is almost over. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we've been busy, but man, the crazies and idiots have definitely been out lately.
Anyways, I've got two manis to show you tonight, featuring more neons from Color Club. Today's mani was done with All That Razz, three coats over one coat of China Glaze's White on White. Over top of that, I used a new (?) glitter topper from Salon Perfect called Loves Me Not Loves Me Not. It's a black and white matte hex glitter that's calling itself a topcoat. It dries a little rough for me to be worn without Seche, so I put a coat of that over it.
By the way, if you're not familiar with the brand, you can find it at Walmart for, like, 2 bucks.
Thursday's mani was done up with three coats of Chelsea Girl over White on White. I can honestly say this particular neon pissed me off. Even with 3 coats, a few of my nails were really uneven, colorwise. This prompted me to layer OPI's Black Shatter over it, instead the Glitter Crackle I wanted to use.
Okay, so wrap it up, the Color Club neons really kinda pissed me off. Unless I'm doing something wrong, I'm going to have to apply them a little thicker than I normally would. Just about all of them needed three coats, and most of them dried uneven.

Whew! It's been a helluva week >.> One I am definitely glad to see the end of. I won't go into it, because it's moot now, but yeah.
I have several manis to show, all of them featuring Zoya colors :) First up is yesterday's Texture Friday mani. For that, I used two of Zoya's new Magical Pixie colors, Cosmo and Vega. I fully expected these to be rough, but not as rough as they are for me. I adore the colors, though. Two coats each for this mani.
Since Thursday was the first day spring (everywhere else in the US), I did up a bright colored mani. The base was three coats of Cole, a coat of Maisie, then topped with Seche. I stamped over it using Bundle Monster BM-H10 and Myrta, then topped it all with Seche.
Wednesday was a two toned, purple mani featuring Danni and Hudson, two coats each with a coat of Seche.
Tuesday was a pretty in pink mani with Dot and Monet. Dot was 3 coats, then a coat of Seche. Since I had read that Monet was thick and difficult to work with, I decided it would be better to sponge it on. Another coat of Seche followed the sponging.

Yay, the week is almost over! It's been a bit rough, as I've had a few restless nights' sleep. Hopefully, that will resolve itself soon :) I have several manis I want to show off, so let's get started!
For #throwbackthursday, I picked what I think is the first OPI I bought nearly ten years ago, Blue My Mind. It's well loved, with less than half the bottle left. I love the color, always have, it's one of my favorite shades. My mani was 2 coats of BMM, a coat of Seche, a coat of White Shatter, and another coat of Seche.
My mani for Wednesday featured one the new colors from Zoya's Awaken collection. I used Dillon in a gradient over 2 coats of Wednesday, topped with Seche.
Tuesday, I wore a fabulous new holo from Colors by Llarowe. Orchids are Better Than Roses Any Day was released for Valentine's Day, and was brought back a few weeks ago. I managed to snag it and boy, am I happy I did. It's gorgeous, that's all I can say. Two coats for opacity and topped with Seche.
Not this past weekend, but the weekend before, I gave my mom a pedi with Zoya Taylor. I was very impressed with the opacity and non streakieness of the color, so much so that I had try on myself. Taylor nearly matches my skintone, so I had to make it standout a little. Enter in a new glitter from OPI's Spotlight on Glitters collection, Rose of Light. Two coats of Taylor, one coat of Rose of Light, one coat of Seche.
And, last but not least, is Sunday's baby shower nails! On the thumbs and ring fingers, I did a water marble with Zoya Malia, Purity, and Josie, over 2 coats of Purity. On the others, I applied 2 coats of Jindie Nails' Betti's Fetti Milkshake, then a coat of Seche. I stamped over that using BM H-21 and OPI's Miss You-niverse, then topped completely with Seche.
