40 Great Nail Art Ideas- kids' TV
Good morning!
Last week's 40gnai prompt was kids' TV. I almost skipped out on this because I was drawing an absolute blank on it. We don't have kids, so I don't really pay attention to that sort of thing, and I don't have much in the of stamping plates for I used to watch as a child. I had to kind of wing it lol.
I settled on being inspired by Barbie Fairytopia and Tinkerbell, which were both either shows or direct-to-DVD movies. I didn't do everything I wanted to for this mani, but I ran out of time that night ad I was tired. The base color is ILNP Skyscraper, which is just gorgeous. All the stamping images are from Marianne Nails 11, 58, and 59, stamped in MdU.

Happy New Year!
Good morning and happy New Year to everyone!
Yay for little sleep! It's gonna be a long day x.x I've got plenty of manis to show you, so let's get to them! First up is yesterday's mani. It was very simple, and I wish I could have gotten a better photo of it, but it was just so gloomy yesterday, and indoor with a flash didn't cut it. I used Morgan Taylor Mint Chocolate Chip and Daydream, topped with Matte's a Wrap.
Mint Chocolate Chip is prolly one of the prettiest mint greens I own. There's no hint of blue, like with many mint greens and a few I own. It's very clean with no dustiness.
For #watermarblepracticewed this week, the prompt was starburst. I started with a base of OPI's Starry Eyed for Dear Daniel, which is pretty much the only other color I wanted from the Hello Kitty collection (which is currently available just about everywhere now). In the bottle, it looked like full on glitter, like the Burlesque glitters, but it's not, and it was easy to apply. I got it mostly because I like the color, not so much because it's glitter lol. For the water marble, I used Wet 'N Wild Black Creme and Nail Envy.
Yesterday was also a prompt for an IG challenge I've been taking part in, so I did that Tuesday. The prompt was winter berries. I really like what I came up with. The base is I Cannoli Wear OPI; I just love this color! The branches are stamped and are from Marianne Nails 58, stamped in MdU brown. The berries are just dots of OPI Bogota Blackberry.
PAA Mani Monday's prompt choices were sweater weather and/or new year, new color, an untried. I combined both in the beautiful ILNP Sweater Weather that I got for my birthday. Sweater Weather reminds of the holos that Zoya currently has, except that SW's holo is finer and almost linear.
Sunday was another prompt for that IG, this prompt being snow and ice, which was so appropriate for the weather we had. I think winter is finally here lol. It was just so sloppy and miserable on Sunday. The base was a gradient of KBShimmer Lo and be Bold and DIFFERENT dimension Heavenly Waters. The snow and snowflakes are from Chez Delaney Xmas 001 and UberChic 1-03, stamped in MdU silver white. Heavenly Waters is a holo, but you can't see it because, again, lighting =\
Last week's #watermarblepracticewed prompt was, like everything else, was New Year's. I used KBShimmer Pt Young Thing for my base, and Color Club Beyond and Nail Envy for the marble. This was the first time I've marbled with a holo, and I like the result. I did have to work a little faster, since holos tend to dry faster. I may need to dry some other holos for water marbling :)
Last Tuesday was one of the final 30DoCC prompts of the year. It was icicles. I decided to use a Pixie Dust as the base this time, Zoya Cosmo. The icicles were from Messy Mansion 27, stamped in MdU white.
Last Monday's PAA Mani Monday prompts were silver/gold only and/or negative space. This is what I came up. Both colors are Zoyas, the gold being Kerry, the silver Trixie. The Happy New Year image was from Infinity Nails 79, stamped in MdU silver and gold.
And finally, last Sunday, it was prompts for 30DoCC and the IG challenge. Prompts were gifts/presents. Instead of gifts, I did gift wrapping, because you can't have gifts without gift wrap! The base was OPI Rose to the Ovation. The image was from Sugar Bubbles Special 02, stamped in MdU white.

Christmas..... done!
Good morning!
Christmas is over past us, and we have just New Year's left! It's been a busy, stressful holiday season this year, but I won't bore you with the deets. I have lots of manis to show, so let's get to them!!
This is my simple, but simply stunning Christmas Day mani, ILNP Juliette. I fell in love with this color with the first swatch that Barbra at ILNP previewed. Have I mentioned that I am obsessed with rose gold? Lol, yeah. This has the Precious Metals finish with a sprinkle of holo. My pic doesn't do it justice, it's just so beautiful.
Next is my nails for Christmas Eve. That was actually our family gathering, even though hubs and I had my parents and grandma over yesterday for Christmas dinner. The base was CbL Blue, Blue Christmas, which just screamed to have snowflakes stamped over it. Snowflakes are from Infinity Nails 79 and Winstonia Have a Merry Christmas! plate, stamped in MdU black and silver.
Wednesday's #watermarblepracticewed prompt was holiday of choice. I went with just a general, festive look, or at least what I thought was a festive look. It started with a base of OPI Kyoto Pearl because I wanted a little more depth to the water marble. The water marble was created with all the Color Paints. I didn't really have a pattern in mind, because I wanted a stained glass for the end result. The cathedral windows are from Messy Mansion MM01, stamped in MdU black.
I thought it looked pretty cool, if a little trippy lol.
For Tuesday, I did the 30DoCC challenge a day early, since it was set for Wednesday. The prompt was just Christmas, so I chose to do Christmas cookies. The base is Colores de Carol Gingerbread Cupcakes, and is very appropriately named. That's what is looks like. It's a pretty color. I stamped little gingerbread men from 5 different plates in MdU pinon. The plates were-
Winstonia 222
Handy N1
Winstonia Have a Merry Christmas
Marianne Nails 62
Chez Delaney Xmas 001

Monday's 30DoCC was snowmen. I used My Little Glacier from ILNP, which was one of my birthday gift, and Cold Fusion. I really wish I had had better light to show off those two, but the weather just hasn't been the best. The "snow" is from UberChic 1-03, the snowman Winstonia 120. Both are stamped in MdU white.

Stamping Sunday's challenge was Merry Christmas. I figured that meant the words, Merry Christmas, needed to be somewhere, so that's what I did. The base is CbL Peacock Parade, which isn't quite as blue as my photo makes it appear. The stamping images I used came from Handy N1, MdU Christmas 2, Infinity Nails 79, and Chez Delaney Xmas 001, stamped in MdU silver.
Last Thursday's 30DoCC prompt was silver and gold. The silver and gold was great, and I should have left it at that because the stamping was a flop. You can barely see it -_- The silver was OPI This Gown Needs a Crown, the gold was OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby. The ornaments are from Chez Delaney Xmas 001, and were stamped in MdU silver on one, gold on the other.

Last Wednesday's water marble prompt was inspired by snow. The water marble was created using Zoya Seraphina, Blu, and Dove over Purity. I added gradient stamped snow from UberChic 1-03 in MdU white and light blue.
Last Tuesday's 30DoCC prompt was holly. The base was ILNP's unbelievably gorgeous Cherry Luxe, also part of the Precious Metals finish. The holly is from Chez Delaney Xmas 001 and stamped in MdU dark green.

Last, but not least, is last Monday's IG challenge prompt, winter wonderland. The base Is Zoya Crystal. You can't have a winter wonderland without first have snow and snow flurries :) Those images came Sugar Bubbles SBS 06 and Chez Delaney Xmas 001, and were stamped in MdU silver and white.

Happy Monday!
Hello and happy Monday!
Sorry for the lack of posting. I've been very busy, stressed out, and not feeling well since Thanksgiving. I'm hoping things will slow down just a little this week. Here's what I've got to show you :)
Last Friday's mani was a 30DoCC prompt and an IG nail art challenge prompt. One was candy canes, the other Christmas candy. This is what I came up with. The base is OPI Kyoto Pearl, to have that pearly finish that old fashioned Christmas candy has. The candy cane like swirls are stamped in MdU red and green, and are from Winstonia 216.

Last Thursday was my birthday, so I had do something more "me" instead of festive. The colors were definitely seasonal, but then I've always loved blue and silver together :) The base color was Et Tu, Brute? from Cupcake Polish, which just happened to be the first one I own. This beautiful polish was gifted to me by a wonderful friend I met on FB <3 The butterflies are from one of my favorite stamping plates, Messy Mansion MM42, in MdU silver.
The water marble prompt for last Wednesday's #watermarblepracticewed prompt was a bit of a challenge this time. The prompt was poinsettias, and I had to really think on how to achieve this. I really didn't want any white in there, even to outline the petals, so I decided to a red on red look. The base is KBShimmer Whole Lava Lovin'. To create the water marble, I used Zoya Asia, so it would show over Lava, and OPI Nail Envy. Some nails even got double water marbled, something I've never done before, but you can't really tell. The "centers" were dots done in Zoya Darcy.
Last Tuesday was another two challenges combined; this time, it was hot chocolate and reindeer. My base color for the whole mani was Zoya Emilia. I stamped reindeer sweaters on three fingers on each hand, and lemme tell you, that was a bitch getting two of them straight. The sweater images were from Marianne Nails 53, and the single reindeer was from Handy N1, stamped in MdU bones. On the other fingers, I used a dotter to create "marshmallows" and OPI Angel With a Leadfoot for a mug of hot chocolate look.

Last Monday, I combined the PAA Mani Monday prompt, red/green/white only, with 30DoCC prompt, wreaths. Base colors were Zoya Aspen, Amal, and Veruschka. The wreaths were stamped in MdU green, and were from MdU Christmas 2.

Last Sunday, I kept it simple, because we had family visiting from out of town. It was just Ashes to Ashes, from Amy's Nail Boutique, who seems to have disappeared =\ That sucks, because I love this polish.
The previous Friday, that day's 30DoCC prompt was ugly sweater nails. I had a hard time intentionally doing ugly nails, but this was my result lol. Essie Mint Candy Apple was the base color. For the ugly sweater image, I used one from Marianne Nails 53, stamped in MdU tutti.

And my final mani for this post. It was simple; Zoya Iris and Loredana.

Is it fall yet??
According to the calendar, we're fast approaching fall. With school having started a month ago here, and Labor Day just this past weekend, you'd think we'd be feeling some fall like weather.
Not so! It still feels like the middle summer x.x
Good afternoon!
I find it hard to want to wear fall colors when it's still so hot, but I've been trying! I've definitely veered away from summer brights, though. I think if I wish hard enough, it will finally cool off lol.
I've got lots to show y'all this afternoon, so bear with me. Nearly all of the manis are 30DoCC prompts, with a few other sprinkled in. There'll be a lot Inlinkz, too.
First up is today's #watermarblepracticewed mani, combined with 30DoCC. The prompts I needed to do were incorporating dots and magenta. I just received yesterday the PotM from Colors by Llarowe, Talk to the Hand, so that is my base (since I seemed to sell, or just can't find, my Electra Magenta....). I water marbled over that with OPI Black Onyx and Nail Envy. The dots are KBShimmer Pt Young Thing.
Yesterday was a simple mani. The prompt for it was turquoise, so I chose Zoya Talia with an accent of Muse.
Monday's mani satisfied three different challenge prompts- PAA Mani Monday/florals, 30DoCC/blue, and 52WPNMC/water color. My water color base was made up of Zoya Blu, Yummy, and Sia. The florals were from Bundle Monster BM-716, stamped in MdU navy.
I honestly didn't like the choices for Stamping Sunday, so I didn't vote or participate. I just used a new to me textured polish that I had finally found, SpaRitual Tango. It's such a pretty orange :)
Since I had some running around to do Saturday, I did up a simple mani just to have something on my nails :) Zoya Serenity with Monet.
Friday's mani was very simple, as well. I just wasn't feeling too much nail art last week. This one was Zoya Logan with the Satin Seal top coat.
For last Thursday's mani, I used a new stamping plate. The base color is Zoya Mason. The images all came from Marianne Nails no 58, stamped in MdU silver. Marianne Nails plates stamp very nicely, I highly recommend them :) I also adore faeries, so may need to get the other plates to go with the three I have from MN.
Last Wednesday's water marble was pointed petals, which I also combined the yellow prompt for 30DoCC. I'm quite pleased with how this turned out. I used OPI Unfrost my Heart, Primarily Yellow, and Pen & Pink. It kinda reminded me of pink lemonade.
And, lastly, is last Tuesday's mani. I think it's the most fallish mani I've done so far, and I'm quite impressed with how it turned out. I wasn't quite intending a half moon mani, but that's what happened lol. Colors used were Zoya Burke and Spencer.

Happy Hump Day!
Hello and happy Wednesday! How does this day find everyone? It's a pisser of a day here, typical for summer. I'm so over, like, four months ago :P
I have some fun, summery manis to show off, starting with today's cool blue water marble. Today was supposed be the prompt for #watermarblepractisewed on IG, which was neon matte. I nailed the matte, the neon not so much. All the neons I tried last night just didn't want to work, I think my water was too warm. Instead of fighting with them, I chose a few blues and went for it.
The colors I used are all China Glaze:
White on White for the base
Secret Peri-Wink-Le
Bahamian Escape
Electric Beat
Topped with Seche, then matted with Matte Magic.
Yellow was one of the prompts for yesterday's 30DoCC. I recently picked up China Glaze Daisy Know my Name? on clearance at Sally's. Let me tell you, this color is a bitch to get even. Out of all the Electric Nights colors I have, which is almost all now minus Red-y to Rave, this one is the worst application wise. It took me four coats, and I should have capped each layer >.< I sponged on Candy Lacquer Pixel Party, then topped with Seche. Daisy was more stubborn to remove the glitter, even.
Inlinkz to other participants:
Monday was a combined mani for PAA Mani Monday and the 52WPNMC. I pretty much just took one prompt from each and created :) Purple was for PAAMM, swirls for 52WPNMC. The base is Zoya Isa, which is just gorgeous. The swirls were stamped in Mundo turquoise from Jr. 20.
Inlinkz:
Stamping Sunday's mani was a little more subtle than I intended. The prompt was over a pink glitter base. My base was Zoya Eden and Harper. Stamped over that were images from Marianne Nails 58 in Mundo copper.
Last Friday's mani was just last Thursday's Skittle mani with holo stamping over it. The Skittles was created with China Glaze colors:
Lemon Fizz
Gaga for Green
Sweet Hook
Dance Baby
Electric Beat
The holo stamping was done with Color Club Beyond. The kitties and butterflies were from DRK A3, which is just recently released.
This mani also fit the holo prompt for Saturday's 30DoCC.
