Happy October!

Good morning, and happy October!

Wow, I can't believe we're in the last three months of the year; time seemed to really fly O.o The new month brings about new challenge prompts from the challenges I participate in. I'll be doing separate posts for the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge prompts, and dedicating my normal weekly post for the others :)

Today's mani is the pink ombre prompt for the 30DoCC. All colors used for it are Zoya colors, and are- Purity, Sweet, Rooney, Reagan, and Margo. Three coats each with a coat of Seche Vite.

Yesterdy's mani was posted last night, so on to Thursday's. The prompt that day was gold. Since it was the first day October, I added a touch of Halloween to it. Base color is Love.Angel.Music.Baby from OPI. I stamped black kitties, paw prints, and cat's eyes onto the gold from Messy Mansion MM50 in MdU black. Re-satined the whole mani with Zoya's Satin Sealer topcoat.

Wednesday was swatcher's choice, as well as #watermarblepracticewed (starburst pattern prompt). I just used my water marble for the 30DoCC. This was my first time doing a starburst pattern marble, so it took some practice to get it nice. My left hand didn't turn out very well, but my right did, so that's the one you'll see lol. I used ILNP Honour Roll for the base color (which I kinda regretted....), and marble with OPI Alpine Snow and Nail Envy. Topped with Seche Vite.

Swatcher's choice Inlinkz:

For Tuesday, the prompt was my favorite color. Anyone that knows me, knows that this is blue :) I combined that with one of my favorite things, butterflies, and this is the result. Base color is Zoya Sia, then 2 coats of ILNP Ice House, stamped with Messy Mansion MM42 in MdU Silver, and topped with Seche Vite.

Favorite color Inlinkz:

Monday's prompt was the color of my socks; well, I didn't wear socks on Monday, so I just did something else :P OPI Jinx

And Stamping Sunday. The prompt for Stamping Sunday was lacy lace, and for 30DoCC it was the color of my eyes. This is Zoya Estelle, stamped with MdU silver and aliexpress VL-3.

Zoya ombre

Good evening!!

Wow, what a horribly, rainy week we've had here in FL! It's been a rainy summer, but that's actually the norm for us, not this drought crap we've had going on the last several years. We've had so much rain in my area, we had a flood warning yesterday. Nothing like the devastation in Colorado, mind you, but enough pretty much all summer that we saturated lol. I'm not complaining, though, we needed it :)

Surprisingly, I've been rocking the same mani I'm about to post since Monday, with no chips and very little tip wear. Mind = blown lol. I really couldn't be bothered to change it for today, since there was really nothing wrong with it. Plus, I had new TV shows to watch last night and I didn't want to be distracted :P

I did an ombre mani, because I don't remember how long it's been since I last did one, if ever. Most ombres I've seen are usually done in creme finishes. Sadly, I don't own enough in any color range of cremes to do that, but I do in shimmers. Well, at least blue shimmers, the other color ranges are iffy.

All my colors are from Zoya, and, with the exception of Tart, are 2 coats each with a coat of Seche to finish it off. Tart needed three to make me happy. Starting at my thumb, is Tallulah, Tart, Song, Ibiza, and Raven.

Before I go, I ask that you take a look at my purge tab :) I've updated my list and created a Pinterest board for it as well as added prices. I'd like to get them out of here, so if you don't like my prices, make an offer! Also, I have a board for nail polish bottle ornaments I've made. They're not mini bottles of polish, but mini bottles that I've made into ornaments with polish I own or bought for that purpose. All the deets are in that tab!

Happy Pink Wednesday!

Good morning!

Lordy, it feels like it's been forever since I last did a Pink Wednesday mani, even though I know it's only been a month and a half. I'm still trying to get back into the swing of posting somewhat more regularly, so please bear with me :)

Not only is it Pink Wednesday, it's also the second mani I have done in keeping with Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It's nothing too fancy, but it is pretty and I like it.

When planning what I would I do for this month's theme, I made a whole list of ideas. Today's is prolly by far the easiest and most fun. Ombre manis seem to still be pretty popular, from what I've seen. Keeping with that trend, I did a pink ombre for today's mani. I think the hardest part was picking which 5 pinks I was going to use :P

Thumb to pinky: OPI Pink Friday- 3 coats, Zoya Shelby- 3 coats, OPI Shorts Story and Kiss Me on Tulips- 3 and 2 coats respectively, and Zoya Reagan- 2 coats. All topped with SV.

And that's it! A pretty simple mani for today! Enjoy!
