Time to catch up again!
Good morning!
Boy, I'll be happy when summer comes around, and things start slowing down enough at work so I'm not so exhausted on my evenings and weekends. This snowbird season has been insane :P Because of it, I have some catching up do again, so here we go!
Yesterday was PAA Mani Monday, and the one prompt I chose to do was orange. I combined it with an IG challenge that I'm taking part in. The orange is DIFFERENT dimension Witch and Famous, which I had been wanting since I first saw it. The IG challenge prompt I combined with dotticure. I didn't do a true dotticure, but stamped it with an image from UberChic 1-03 and MdU lime. At least I kept it from looking Halloweeny or fallish!
Nothing for the weekend, and that was a good thing because I put my second Helmer together and managed to bang up my hands in doing so XD. Friday's mani has been posted already, so one to last Thursday's!
I made a decision recently to seriously work on my gradients. I have had a few turn out spectacular, but most don't. This one falls under those that don't, lol, mostly because one of my colors didn't want to build nicely. Colors used were all China Glaze- White on White, In the Near Fuchsia, and My Way or the Highway.
If My Way or the Highway had covered better, I think this would have looked nicer.
For last week's #watermarblepracticewed prompt, the prompt was incorporate dots. Easy peasy. I started with a base of China Glaze White on White. My marble was created with China Glaze colors also- Secret Peri-Wink-Le and Bahamian Escape. The dots were Boho Blues.
Okay, last Tuesday's mani combined two challenge prompt, blue and emoji, and here's what I came up with. The yellow base is Morgan Taylor Doo Wop, which wasn't too bad to work with. I only needed three coats of it for this mani. Now, the only plate I could find I have with anything close to emoji was Bundle Monster plate 304. I stamped the image in MdU sky blue.
I skipped out on doing last Monday's PAA Mani Monday prompt, and did an IG challenge prompt, in love with pink. Another gradient, this one using OPI colors- Mod About You, Suzi has a Swede Tooth, and Spare me a French Quarter?. Unfortunately, SV decided to smear or pick up color on a few nails -_-
Stamping Sunday's mani also had a gradient base that I should have left as is, because the stamping didn't show up very well. Colors used were also OPI- That's Hula-rious! and I'm sooo Swamped. The stamping image came from Loja BBF 19, stamped in MdU bones.
That Friday's mani was posted already, so on to that Thurday's! This was a combined challenge mani, prompts being magic and unicorn. The gradient I created for the base was pretty damn magical, in my opinion lol. I think it was my first time doing a holo gradient, too. The holos I used were ILNP Pixie Dust and You're my Boy, Blue. The stamped images were from Nail Ways A-NW00012 and Vivid Lacquer 019, stamped in MdU white.
The #watermarblepracticewed prompt for that week was water spotting, something I haven't been real successful with, but I decided to give it another go. That gorgeous periwinkle base is ninezero February 2016. For the spotting, I used Wet 'N Wild Black Creme.
That Tuesday, the challenge prompt I did was food I love. I love food in general, lol, but especially desserts. Specifically, my husband's cookies, so that was the inspiration for this mani. Colors used were Zoya Spencer, Taylor, and Emilia, in a Saran Wrap mani and dotting.
And, finally, something a little racy! PAA Mani Monday for that week had a dry brush prompt as one of the choices. I combined that with an IG challenge prompt of hot and spicy. My dry brush mani was created using all OPI colors-
Alpine Snow
I'm sooo Swamped
Rich Girls and Po-Boys
I Manicure for Beads
Black Onyx
The stamped images are from the naughty plate that MdU sells, stamped in MdU white.

Time to get caught up!
Good afternoon!
I've been slacking on the posting, I admit it. Things have just been crazy, trying to find the time for more than just the 40 Great Nail Ideas posts. I've got a backlog of manis to show, so let's get to them!
Today's PAA Mani Monday prompt that I chose to do is plaid. The base is Zoya Alexa. Stamped over with Mundo de Unas sunflower and navy, and myonlineshop MJ XXIX. Zoya Matte topcoat to finish it.
There was finally a Stamping Sunday prompt that I wanted to! It was red and black. A perfect opportunity for me to try out my new red holo, Anonymous Lacquer Wrath. OMG, y'all, if you're looking for a true red holo, this is it!!! It does not lean pink, or is too greyed out. It's perfection! I stamped over it with Messy Mansion MM54 and MdU black.
Saturday was, of course, Halloween, so I couldn't go naked for it. I had ordered the Colors by Llarowe Halloween duo, so those were my base colors. The orange is All Jack'd Up, the purple Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun. The images were from Bundle Monster H07 and H08, and Nailways A-NW00016, stamped in MdU black and white.
It was also the last day for October's 30DoCC, so here are the Inlinkz for it-
Friday's mani was already posted, on to Thursday. That was the pink pastels prompt for the 30DoCC. I did a vertical gradient, using Zoya Kitridge, Eden, and Lara over Purity. Matte topcoat to finish it.
Pink pastels Inlinkz-
#watermarblepracticewed prompt was, of course, Halloween. I went for a candy corn look. OPI Alpine Snow, Primarily Yellow, and Chromatic Orange for the marble, and Color Club Beyond for the dots.
Tuesday was the acorn prompt for 30DoCC. This one prompt made me realize I don't have but 2, single, acorn images. Anywho, the base is ILNP Overnight Bag and Glory. I highly recommend getting these two, they are so beautiful together! The acorns are from Bundle Monster H12 and Messy Mansion MM3,s tamped in MdU pinon.
Acorn Inlinkz-
Last Monday's PAA Mani Monday mani was completely inspired by IGer @clairestelle8. The base was a radial gradient of China Glaze Bahamian Escape, I Sea the Point, and Violet Vibes over White on White. A layer of Fairy Dust, then stamped with images from Winstonia Haunted House and Nailway A-NW00016, in MdU black. Matte Magic to finish it.
Sunday's mani was a recreation as well, this time from IGer @tunaynamahal82. It started with a base of Zoya Genevieve, followed by ILNP Glory. Leaf image came from Winstonia 119, stamped in Maybelline Bold Gold. I believe I used Zoya Matte topcoat to finish it.
And, finally, that previous Thurday's 30DoCC prompt, pumpkins. This gave me the opportunity to try a new to me indie brand, Potion Polish. My first purchase was Pumpkin all the Things!, which is the color of pumpkins. I stamped over that with Winstonia Haunted House and MdU pale yellow.

Feelin' a little spooky!
Good afternoon!
So, I'm finally feelin' a little Halloweenie. It's not my favorite holiday, but I try to get into the spirit of it anyways. I've got a few Halloween themed manis to show you, plus a few others :)
The first one up is today's #watermarblepracticewed prompt. It called for a water marble over a radial gradient. I had a "brilliant" idea of using stippler sponges for the gradient, and it really seemed to help me. Anyways, I started with a base of China Glaze White on White. The radial gradient was created using Lady and the Vamp and Looking Bootiful from their Ghouls Night Out collection. The starburst water marble was created with OPI Black Onyx and Nail Envy. First pic is left hand, second is my right.
Now, today was also a prompt for 30DoCC, but I bumped it to yesterday, since there wasn't a way I could incorporate both in. The prompt for was Breast Cancer Awareness. Base color was Zoya Genesis over Purity (because I thought that might help with Genesis's streaking.....). The stamped images were from Messy Mansion MM42 and Bundle Monster 321 and 324, in MdU fiusca.
BCA Inlinkz:
Monday was also a 30DoCC prompt, a fall gradient this time, as well as PAAManMonday Halloween critters/characters. I've been drooling over some gradients I've seen recently, created from the ILNP multichrome flakies. I decided to try my hand at one, and I was just blown at the awesomeness of it. My gradient consisted of Glory, Phoenix, and Atlantis, over a naked base (meaning I used no base color). The bats were from Bundle Monster H08 and the Winstonia Haunted House plate in MdU black.
Fall gradient Inlinkz-
I skipped Stamping Sunday, because I haven't been voting for the challenges. They haven't really inspired me =\ Since I had some errands to run Saturday, I slapped on a color, Emily de Molly Great and Small. Pretty color! I'm such a sucker for periwinkle :)
Already posted Friday's mani, so on to Thursday. It was a challenge prompt day, but I seriously wasn't feeling it, plus I didn't want to stamp over my base color. It was a new to me indie brand, Colores de Carol. She had run a sale at the end of August, and I picked up Jasper. It's a rose gold holo, another color I'm a sucker for at the moment. The holo is a little subtle, but I love it!
Last #watermarblepracticewed's prompt was Breast Cancer Awareness. All the colors I used were from Zoya: Purity, Shelby, Reagan, and Margo.
The prompt for last Tuesday's 30DoCC was pink glitter. The glitter I used had pink in it, even though it wasn't made up entirely of pink glitter :P The base color was Take me to Your Tribe and the glitter was Escar-go to France, both from Morgan Taylor, as was the Matte's a Wrap.
Pink glitter Inlinkz-
And last Monday's PAAManiMonday offering. One of the prompts was spiderwebs. The base color was ILNP Homecoming. Spiderwebs and spiders came from Nailways A-NW00016, stamped in MdU white and red.

It's November!
Good afternoon!
Wow, I really can not believe that it's November already O.o It just doesn't feel like it should. I mean, we just celebrated Halloween last week, which I hope everyone had a great time, but man, now it's November. I feel kinda caught off guard for some reason.
Anyways! I have a few manis to show I want to show, featuring a lot of newer colors :) I'll start with today's mani. I have a feeling not everyone will like the color combo, which has a very retro feel (in my opinion), but I don't care :P I like it.
My base color for this mani was 2 coats of Zoya Nyssa. Zoya describes Nyssa as a chocolate brown, but I'm inclined to disagree. On me, it's warmer, almost like a darker caramel color, but again, this is on my skintone. Formula and application are typical of Zoya. I layered 2 coats of Formula X (from Sephora) TNT, which is a cobalt blue, matte hex glitter of mix sizes. I totally recommend sponging this on, instead applying it with the brush, because it seems to clump together around the larger glitters. I needed two coats of Seche to smooth it out.
Alrighty, as you know, I practiced water marbles over the summer, to the point that I finally felt comfortable doing them. I have since moved to improving my gradients, I feel that I really need to improve them. Yesterday's mani was a gradient, using Pantone's color of the year, radiant orchid, tied in with two fall colors.
I used Zoya Purity as the base and topped with Seche. The colors I used for the gradient are also Zoya colors, Ryan, Perrie, and Geneviev. While I love the colors together, I think the gradient needs work lol. I topped with Seche, then matteified with Zoya's matte topcoat.
I actually took part in this week's Stamping Sunday challenge. It called for using white and gold. While I think those colors are very elegant and classy together, I'm still coming around to wearing gold polish. I chose Zoya Ziv as my base, at two coats. The stamped image came from Bundle Monster BM-410 and Mundo de Unas white for the stamping polish. Topped with Seche to finish it.
Now my Halloween mani! Unfortunately, my stupid camera made my pics blurry. I tried to sharpen the second without overdoing it. It started with a base of Zoya Tilda at two coats, the topped with Seche. Using Saran Wrap, I sponged on Zoya Monica, then stamped over that. The bats came from Nailways A-NW00016, stamped in Mundo de Unas black. Topped with Seche, then mattefied with Zoya's matte topcoat.

It's almost Hallowen!
Good evening!!
Tomorrow's Halloween, which means I have a few 'weenie manis to show y'all tonight :) Halloween isn't my favorite holiday, but I do enjoy celebrating it.
I think the mani I did yesterday is by far my favorite Halloween mani, but that's mostly because I'm so damned proud of the gradient I created. I started with Zoya Purity as the absolute base at two coats, then topped with Seche. I sponged over that with three different oranges, Zoya Cole and Arizona, and OPI Flit a Bit. On my index, middle, and ring fingers, I stamped image that made them look like carved pumpkins. The images came from Winstonia W221, the stamped color was pastel yellow from Mundo de Unas.
Tuesday's mani was an exercise in frustration. I was trying to create a black and white water marble, but try as I might, the colors bled into each other. It was still cool looking, but not what I was going for.
The colors I used were Wet 'N Wild's Black Cream and French White. The white served as the base also. I used a silver nail art glitter create a spiderwebby look, then topped with Seche. I added red spiders, using Nail Ways A-NW00016 and Mundo de Unas red, and a final coat of Seche.

So busy!
Good evening!
Welp, things are definitely getting busy around here! I haven't had much time to myself this week edit pics and get them posted, but I finally got a few minutes today. It's a little frustrating, but I'm just trying to get into the swing of it lol.
The first mani I want to show you is my Textured Friday mani. The colors aren't new, but I used a new to me color. It was simple, just two coats each of Zoya Chita and Dhalia. Chita is a gorgeous green that I kept passing over, until I finally gave in after seeing so many beautiful swatches of it. I paired it with Dhalia for a witchy look.
Thursday's mani was a color blocked, pink look. Color blocking is, and has been, popular for a while. They're not too difficult to create; I prefer to use either striping tape or Scotch tape for clean lines. The colors I used are both from Morgan Taylor, No Way Rose and I'm Charmed. I'm Charmed is a light pink that I received last week with my purchase at Cosmo Prof.
It served as the base color at three coats. I used striping tape to create the block and added No Way Rose. Finished the mani off with a coat of Seche.
For Wednesday, I created a Halloween water marble. All colors used are from Zoya: Purity for the base, Tilda, Mira, and Sharon for the marble. Stamped over using Bundle Monster BM-H07 and Nailways A-NW00016 and Mundo de Unas black. Topped with Seche then matted with Morgan Taylor's Matte's a Wrap. I absolutely love how this marble turned out :)
And, now Monday's mani. The base was two coats of Zoya Black Swan (which I think is gonna be re-released as Willa....). I then made a gradient with Essie's BCA glitter, Pinking of You. It's a pale pink, matte glitter in different size hexes. Ring fingers and thumbs got pink ribbons from Bundle Monster BM-321 and Mundo de Unas pink. Seche completed the mani.
