So damn busy!
I haven't hardly had any time to blog, with everything I've been doing. I had some last minute shopping to do over the weekend, a meal to prepare for my parents on Christmas Eve, then Christmas, and work today.
My Stamping Sunday mani turned out horribly the first time I did it Saturday night, so I redid it Sunday morning. I was rather happy with it, even though I still need to work on my water marbling skillz :P
I started with a base of 2 coats of Milani's White on the Spot topped with Seche. My marbling colors were Zoya Kristen and Ibiza, which were pretty close to the colors on my tree (the theme for Stamping Sunday). I then stamped a snowflake pattern from Bundle Moster 319 in Zoya Trixie. I topped it all off with Out the Door's Northern Lights :)
Today's mani was kept rather simple. Just two coats of OPI's Baby, It's "Coal" Outside! topped with Poshe. That's it :)

My go to holiday red
Good morning! Down to 3 days left before Christmas :) Any plans for the weekend? Me, I just have a few errands to run later, then a mani to do for tomorrow's Stamping Sunday challenge. That's about it.
So, because of some heavy drama in my family, our little company Christmas party got pushed back to last night. If you don't already know, I work in my family's business, alongside with my parents and brother. I honestly couldn't decide what to do with my nails, so I reached for my absolutely, most favorite red in the world, OPI's Rose to the Ovation. This was the first color that I had bought a back up of, simply because not only do I love it, but so do other people that I've let borrow. It's very flattering on most skintones, I've noticed.
Two coats of color, topped with Poshe, and done. Doesn't get much easier than that :)

More sparklyness and some swatches!
Good evening!
I have a few more sparkly, cheery, holiday manis to show you. I'll start with today's mani, which is a gorgeous purple gradient. For this look, I started with 2 coats of OPI's Funky Dunkey and topped with Seche and let that dry completely.
Taking my slightly damp sponge, I then sponged on OPI's DS Temptation. I only needed one pass of it for this mani. I did, though, need two coats of Gelous to smooth it out; Temptation is a topcoat eater, as beautiful as it is. I applied another coat of Seche to finish it off.
Yesterday's mani was rather simple. Using Zoya Noel and Fei Fei, in that order, I applied two coats of each and topped with Poshe. Fei Fei reminds me very much of Zoya Belle from the Birchbox set.
Now the swatches! The first is Orly's Velvet Rope, the other is Essence Blue Ray, two coats each.

Sometimes simple is better
Good morning!
I didn't find out until after I did today's mani last night, that today is World Diabetes Day. Otherwise, I would be showing off a blue mani for this cause, since both my dad and my aunt, his sister, are diabetics. I do have a swatch of a blue polish; does that count? :P
Anyways. I've been dying to wear silver/gray polish, but for the life of me, I could not get inspired for anything =\ Yesterday, I was looking at my wall o' polish and decided then I wanted to do an accent nail mani, so I picked out two of my favorite silvers/grays. Personally, I think it's a tad early to sparkly, holiday-esque nails, but I didn't care lol.
The colors I picked were OPI's Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous and Rinse Charming as the accent. Omg, can I say much the accent on my left hand was pissing me off? I redid for the third time this morning, because it just wasn't coming out right at all. I did three coats of LLM and two for RC, topped with Poshe.
Now for some swatched! All three are Zoya, and I picked them at Ulta a few months ago on clearance :) First is Nimue, then Lotus, and lastly, Kristen. All three are swatched with three coats. Nimue is silvery purple frost. Lotus is a slightly dusty purple with fine pink glitter. Kristen is light blue-grey creme; my pics show it more blue, but it's not.

Teal Friday! Um, kinda lol...
Good evening!
Right before Halloween, I had order this completely girly plate from a seller on Ebay. This was after seeing posted in the wonderful stamping group I'm a member of on Face Book. Well, it came yesterday and instead doing my blog post, I played around with my new plate, mostly just see to how well the images stamped :P
Needless to say, I did not get around to making yesterday's post lol. I will say that my time was wasted well, since most of the images I tried (which wasn't all of them, more like 75%) stamped nicely. Only one or two didn't. Tomorrow's stamped mani will feature a few images from my new plate.
Ok, moving forward! I missed the whole Teal Toes awareness, since I think I was in school at the time. I figured that I would kinda make up for it yesterday and do a sparkly teal mani for that purpose. All the polishes I used for it are from Zoya. Base color is two coats of Cynthia, then 2 coats of Fei Fei, and one of Frida, topped with Poshe.
I will say this: As pretty as this mani was, it stained my nails like a mofo when I took it off. Not the skin around my nails, like most others would, but the nails themselves. Good thing I'm painting them over tonight :)

More pinkness!
Good morning!
I hope everyone is doing well on this fine day :)
The mani I'm showing to you is very simple, and comes from my swatched only list. When I bought it, I didn't realize that it's pretty much a dead on dupe for OPI's Let Me Entertain You, which I just love. From the squishy jellieness to the pink glitter, Zoya's Alegra is girlyness in a bottle and perfect for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
For this mani, all I did was 3 coats of Alegra sandwiched between Poshe base and topcoats. Clean up was surprisingly easy, considering all the glitter in Alegra.

Some holo goodness for BCA
Hello and good afternoon!
I hope today finds you well and full of weekend plans. This morning, I pulled out my fall decorations and did up my house. Now, if only the weather would cooperate and get cooler -.- Most of the rest of the country is cooler right now, except us. Oh, the torture.
Anyways! As the title says, I have some holo goodness for you in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. I really only own one pink holo, and that is OPI's DS Signature. So, without further ado, here are the pics!
For this mani, I did 3 coats of the precious and Poshe base and topcoats. That's it, I kept it pretty simple for this one.
Check back tomorrow for the Stamping Sunday challenge, Metallic Madness!

Stamping Sunday, and a few others
Good evening! The last days have been rather busy for me, but I finally have some time to post today's mani as well as two others. So sit back and enjoy!
I'm gonna start with the manis I had on Thursday and Friday. For Thursday, I did an orange jelly mani. In this order, I did one coat each of Zoya Myrta, China Glaze Mango Madness, and Zoya Coraline, topped with SV. I think this by far my favorite jelly mani that I've attemped.
For Friday, I chose Zoya Tallulah and Song, two coats each topped with Poshe, with Song on my accent finger.
Please excuse the crappy indoor pics. I had absolutely no time to take them until after the sun went down Friday lol.
Last, but not least, is today's Stamping Sunday challenge. The theme called for using gold, silver, or bronze as either the base or stamping color. One of my favorite color combos is black and silver; I just needed to what to stamp and how.
I have only a few blacks I like, so that choice was easy: Zoya Raven. I think everyone needs this black because it's just not a plain black. Raven has a subtle silver shimmer that adds depth. I applied two smooth coats and topped with SV before I stamped. For the silver stamping, I used China Glaze Millennium and my new Vivid Lacquer plate 002. Topped it all off with SV.
So, there you have it! I hope you all had a great weekend!

Pink Wednesday!
Good morning and happy Pink Wednesday!
So here it is, the first of August. Summer has/is starting to wind down for many people. Fall is just around the corner! Weather wise, I am more than ready for cooler temps. It has been a long, hot summer, but most likely it won't cool down for a few more months. Fashion wise, I'm not quite ready to give up my brights, prolly since the weather won't give up the heat xD
I didn't anything super bright for today, just something still fun for summer. It was tough trying to pick a color; I literally stood in front of my racks for 10 minutes trying to pick a color. I finally settled on Zoya Dita and Belle.
Dita is a beautiful color on her own. I applied two very easy coats for full coverage and let that dry before applying a single coat of Belle. I didn't quite get the full impact of the combo last night, because of the lighting in my room. All I can say is wow! Topped it all with Poshe.
