This week's 40gnai prompt was floral. I used the gorgeous ILNP Peace and Atlantis for my base, with stamping from UberChic 1-02 in MdU copper.

I have for this week's 40GNAI, and tomorrow I have a huge post to do because I've been so busy. This week's prompt was turquoise or aqua, and my nail art prompt was chevrons. The base is ILNP Washing Ashore, sadly no longer available, but I came across it in a destash sale. I didn't even know it existed! The stamping is from Vivid Lacquer 010, stamped in MdU copper. I just love turquoise and copper together :)

Boy, this year has certainly flown by; I can't believe it's already December! I guess that means I've had a busy year XD It doesn't really feel like it has been, well, at least no busier than usual, I suppose lol. Work has been busy, though, which has kept me posting to just once a week, so I have a week's worth of manis to show y'all :)
Let's start with Textured Friday's offering. I used three coats of the pretty purple Zoya Thea for my base, and stamped over with present images from Winstonia's Merry Christmas plate and MdU silver.
Thursday's mani was bright and festive, using a bright summer creme and a mixed sized circle glitter. The creme was Wait 'N Sea from China Glaze (which stained my nails upon removal) and the glitter was Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree from Candy Lacquer. Because of the glitter, I needed two coats of Seche to smooth it out.
Sadly, only one of my pics came out decent -_-
I regard Wednesday's mani as something of a fail. It certainly didn't come out how I pictured in my head, I think I should have used a different base or something. Anyways, it was 2 coats of Zoya Celine and a single coat of Finger Paints' Hollywood Decadence. HD is very similar to OPI's More Than a Glimmer. It dries matte just like Glimmer does, but I added a matte coat to my mani anyways.
In one of on the groups I'm in, on FB, this week's challenge was a radial gradient. There aren't many tutorials on it, but I recalled seeing a pic weeks ago of one. How I did mine was this:
I started with a white base, Zoya Purity, which got topcoated. On a makeup sponge, I made a dot of Purity, then circled it with Zoya Prim. I then sponged it onto my nail, going over it as many times as it needed, twice for this mani. I almost stamped over after I topped again, but I decided against it.
I was really on the fence about this mani, but I think with practice, I could get the hang of this particular style gradient.
Last week or the week before, I don't remember which, I received two new polishes from I Love Nail Polish. One of them I've already worn, Champagne Blush. The other, Black Orchid, I paired with one of their multichromes, Undenied, for Monday's mani. Two coats each, then topcoat.

Good afternoon! I hope everyone had a great weekend :) Me, not so much, but it wasn't bad either. I've got 3 manis I want to show, two of which feature new polishes.
Now, anyone that knows me, know that there are certain colors that I just avoid. Browns are some, neutrals/nudes are some, golds/bronze/copper are even more. It seems this year I'm stepping out my comfort zone, because I've bought a few golds, almost an entire collection of neutrals/nudes, and recently I picked up a copper.
Copper, to me, is fairly close to rose gold, so it honestly didn't bother me to get it; I only wish I had known about this color sooner because it's so pretty! Early last month, I came across a Zoya color that I had never seen, Tiffany. Not surprising, since I didn't start buying until 2010 or 2011, I think, and I believe Tiffany is discontinued (at least I think it is, since it's not on Zoya's site). Googled it, had to have it.
Tiffany is a coppery colored foil with a gold sparkle to it. I absolutely love. For my mani, I applied 2 coats for opacity, then topped with Seche. I stamped over it with Messy Mansion MM21 and Maybelline Bold Gold, then topped again with Seche. It reminds me of dragon scales :)
And, I don't know, my camera was being really dumb yesterday and today. Half of those pics had this weird, hazy/shadowy look to them -_-
Yesterday, I did up a bright, fun mani using all the creme colors I own from Zoya's Beach collection. On my thumbs and ring fingers, I watermarbled Reagan, Shelby, Wednesday, and Arizona over a coat of Purity. On my index fingers went Reagan, middle fingers were for Arizona, and Wednesday on the pinkies. Pinkies were dotted with Shelby. Index and middle fingers were stamped with Winstonia W106 and Mundo de Unas neon orange and fiusca. Everything was topped with Seche.
I really didn't want to take this off, I loved it so much.
I know that ^^^^ pic looks brighter than the top one. It was another victim of whatever my camera did, and I was just trying to get it show up better, that's all.
Sunday's Stamping Sunday challenge was holographic. Perfect opportunity for me to use my newest indie, Dock of the Bay from Colors by Llarowe. This polish is just all kinds of awesome! It's a nearly one coater, linear holo multichrome. And the color...... Love it!
For this mani, I applied 2 coats, even though I really could have done with just one, then topped it. Stamped over with Emily de Molly EdM 03 and Mundo de Unas black. Topped again with Seche.
Excuse the awkwardness of the poses, it's my right hand instead of my left because the stamping came out better on that hand, oddly enough.

I've got four pretty manis I want to show you today. The first one, today's, is one I've wanted to try for a while. I picked up OPI's Sheer Tints over a month ago, and had yet to try to them. I finally got around to, after seeing many manis using them.
Most of the manis I have seen used a pure white, like Alpine Snow. I chose instead to use My Boyfriend Scales Walls. For some stupid reason, I needed to do three coats instead of my usual 2 for it. Anyways :P Then I just applied all four sheer tints over it, followed by Seche.
Yesterday, I did another negative space mani. Those seem to be all the rage right now, and there are a few different ways of doing them. I did mine using Scotch tape, Zoya Odette and Brigitte, and Art Club black striping polish. All topped with Seche.
On Monday, I featured a new-to-me indie brand, Enchanted Polish. There's a lot hype surrounding this brand; you'd think it was magic in a bottle. Don't get me wrong, the one I won in a first timers giveaway is nice (I won Hey Jude), I don't think it's any better than other indies I own.
Hey Jude is a multichrome with a sprinkling of holo. It shifts through a golden green to teal to purple. I needed three coats for my mani.
And, of course, Sunday was Stamping Sunday. The challenge for that was using a plate that ended in 2. What I came up with was neon bubbles! The base colors are Bleached Neons from Maybelline: Day Glow Teal, Pink Punch, Bleached in Peach, Citrus Collide, and Lime Accent.
This mani gave me the opportunity to use my new stamping polishes from Mundo de Unas. Oh. My. God!!! Best stamping polishes EVER!!!! I had ordered all her neon colors plus black and white. What I used in this mani were neon orange, neon green, neon pink, neon blue, and neon yellow. I loved how these stamped so much that I will be getting more at some point. You can get them here; this is also where I've gotten my Handy plates.
The stamping plate I used was Messy Mansion MM02, matte topcoat was Wet 'N Wild.

Actually, busy month for me >.< It's been hard to keep track off what's happening when lol. Every time I think I'm on top of posting, I prove myself wrong. Ah, well, at least I'm posting, right?!
Anyways! Let's get started. Today's mani was inspired by another I saw posted; it was called a negative space mani. I'm not sure what that's all about, but it inspired me. My base was a coat of just OPI's Natural Nail Base. I used Scotch tape and OPI's This Gown Needs a Crown and Love. Angel. Music. Baby and no top coat.
Wednesday's mani was a matte flakie mani :) The base was 2 coats of OPI's Incognito in Sausalito (lovely teal blue, by the way!), one coat of Finger Paints' Vivid Reflection, a coat of Seche, and a coat of OPI's Matte coat.
Tuesday's mani was inspired by one the polishes I used, OPI's Minnie Style. I have always loved Minnie Mouse, yet I passed up the two collections released celebrating her. A very close inspection of Minnie Style changed my mind. I never released it had square glitters in it! Of course I had to have it.
The base color for this mani was 2 coats of Zoya Gie Gie. I should have sponged on Minnie Style, but I didn't, and it was a hot, bubbly mess on the fingers I used it on. My thumbs and ring fingers were stamped with images from my Handy 32 plate in CND Vinylux Black Pool. Everything topped with Seche.
And, finally, Monday's mani also featured a new polish. When I first saw swatched of I Love Nail Polish's newest ultrachromes, I just knew that Undenied would be mine. Its shifts aren't as in your face as their others, but the color is gorgeou. My mani only needed 2 coats, then topped with Seche. I stamped over it using Messy Mansion MM03 in Maybelline's Bold Gold, and topped again with Seche.

Yes, that's right. I will not be doing Pink Wednesday any longer. It came to my attention last week that the group behind starting that, has really turned into a group of mean girls. I'll be addressing this more in a post tomorrow. Tonight I want to you, dear readers, to enjoy my swatches :)
So, I showed swatches of Hard Candy's Beetle months ago. My pics were not so great. Beetle is an amazing multichrome that's a pain in the ass to photograph lol. I think I managed to get decent pics this time though. This time, I managed to get even coverage in three coats.
Now, when I was driving to work today, Beetle flashed a golden green, more green than the middle pic. I totally forget to snap a pic with my phone so I could show it. If you're in the States, you can pick Beetle up at Walmart for about $4, making it prolly the most affordable multichrome available. Get it if you can :)
