For US folk, this Thursday is Thanksgiving, making this week crazy busy, since not everyone is off and we have to rush through a week's worth of business in three days. So much to get done!
Today's mani is for an IG challenge, and the prompt is owls. I've been wanting to use a jelly polish for a while now, so I pulled out Zoya Paloma. I promise you, I capped my free edges with each coat, but it shrank back on a few -_- It's so hard to not let OCD me..... Anyway, it's stamped with MdU copper and Bundle Monster 309.
For yesterday's PAA Mani Monday challenge, I picked to jewel tones prompts. The colors I used were Zoya Yves and Honor. Both are stainers, if not removed carefully. Otherwise, I love them :)
The polish I wore on Sunday, I picked up because of a blogger on IG, Chit Chat Nails. I'm totally obsessed with rose gold polishes, and this screamed at me, buy me! This beauty is Cirque Colors Halcyon. I own a few rose gold metallics, but Halcyon, by far, is the most gorgeous. I couldn't bring myself to stamp over it or anything, it's just so beautiful on its own. It's a limited edition color, so I highly recommend getting now if you love it.
Nothing for Saturday, and Friday's mani was already posted, so on to Thursday! This turned out to be more Christmas-y than I intended, but honestly, it was one of those days where I didn't want anything complicated. This is Zoya Janel and Sue.
I skipped out on last Wednesday's #watermarblepracticewed prompt, because I had to spend time at the DMV. Not sure if I mentioned it, but I pulled over on Veteran's Day, and the cop busted me for my driver's license not having the right address -_- So, yeah, didn't have time to get a water marble together, so I slapped on a couple coats of Colors by Llarowe In the Navy.
Last Tuesday's mani was also for an IG challenge. That prompt was Gothic. I'm happy with the execution of the mani, I just think I could have done something..... more. The base color was OPI Lincoln Park at Midnight. The stamped color was Essie Penny Talk, the silver was OPI Birthday Babe, and the stamping plate was Messy Mansion MM54.
And last Monday's PAA Mani Monday mani :P I chose to do prompts, falling leaves and purple for Epilepsy Awareness. Base is CbL Paper Moon. Leaves were stamped in MdU copper and were from Winstonia 119 and Messy Mansion MM23.

I've got some catching up to do :P I totally meant to post over the weekend, but well, getting our taxes done was topmost of my list, so yeah lol.
I'm still taking part in the 31 day challenge, although that'll be coming to an end this weekend. I want to start on Valentine's manis, and the end of the challenge is actually this weekend, so it coincides nicely. For now, here's the manis I've got from last week on through yesterday.
Yesterday's theme was inspired by a book. I bet you can guess which ones :) The base is 2 coats of ILNP's Undenied, stamped over with Mundo light gold and Messy Mansion MM05 and MM21, then topped with Seche.
Sunday's Stamping Sunday theme was pink and black; it was also inspired by a movie day. The movie I picked may not be as obvious as the book inspired :P I picked Memoirs of a Geisha, I absolutely love that movie. The pink base is 3 coats of Zoya Gie Gie. The stamping polishes are Mundo mexican pink and black, the images are all from Sugar Bubbles SBS 022. Topped with Seche, course.
Textured Friday managed to be tied in with inspired by a color. My color was L'Oreal's Bad Bad Grey from their Dark Sides of Grey collection, inspired by Fifty Shades of Grey. I've seen some bad reviews about the textures in this collection, but I like this one. My mani only needed 2 coats.
Thursday was water marble day. I did a chocolate and vanilla marble with OPI colors, Suzi Loves Cowboys and You're so Vain-illa over Alpine Snow. OMG, I think this my favorite marble, I really love how this came out!
Wednesday and Tuesday were both fails for those days' challenges. I don't remember what Wednesday's was, but Tuesday's was half moon, and yeah, didn't work. For Wednesday, though, I did a stamped mani. The base was three coats of Zoya Kitridge, then a coat of Seche. Stamped over that with Mundo silver and FUN 14.
For Tuesday, I simply did 3 coats of Zoya Julie.
And, lastly, for Monday I did a jelly sammy, using 2 coats of Jordana Fairy Dust sandwiched between two coats of Orly Butterflies.

It's been a busy last few days, but I finally got a day off during the week so I could edit some pics and get them posted!
First up is a challenge mani, the theme splatter nails. I've tried splatter nails before, and the result was a hot mess. I didn't really have time for what I had in mind, so I settled for a stamped splatter..... only to realize that the plate I thought I had, I don't, so I had to use something else. This is the result.
Two coats of Zoya Genevieve (which is much bluer on my nails than in the bottle), followed by a coat Seche. The "splatters" are from Pueen 62, and the colors are MdU Fiji and Fantasy. Excuse the crappy pics, until today, the weather had been awful for taking pics outside. If I had known these were gonna turn out like this, I'd have taken them inside -_-
The indie polish world has practically exploded with collections of flakies, that to which I haven't been immune. I adore flakies, and wish that I could get them all. While I wait to hit the Powerball, I had to content myself with a preorder for two from ILNP. Seeing all the soon to be released flakies definitely put me in the mood to use mine :)
Thus, Tuesday's vampy flakie mani. It started with 2 coats of Zoya Anja, then a single coat of Zoya Chloe. Topped with Seche, and you know I had to matte that, and I did with Zoya's matte topcaot. Zero regrets :)
Again, absolutely craptastic weather when I took these pics Tuesday.
I think it was early last month or late September that Zoya released their Fall 2014 trend guide. In it, they show what was hot on the runways and how to achieve these looks. I plan on creating each one at some point, and have done so twice already. Monday's mani was the second.
It was a simple tape mani. The base color was two coats of Zoya Monica, then a coat of Seche. Using Scotch tape, I taped off my nails at angle and applied Zoya Sansa, removed the tape, and topped again. Done!
And now, my fave mani this week (so far)! This week's Stamping Sunday challenge was leadlighting. Basically, you're using an image that is filled in with jelly polishes, to create a stained glass look. I've done this once before, and admire most that I've seen.
My base color was 2 coats of OPI's My Boyfriend Scales Walls and a coat of Seche. The stamped image came from Messy Mansion MM42 and was stamped with MdU black. The jelly polishes were Zoya Frida and L'Oreal Miss Pixie. The glitter accent was 2 coats of OPI's Comet in the Sky. Everything was topped with Seche.
It's only Wednesday, and yet the week has seemed to have gotten away from me!

I've had something of a wonky schedule this week, making it hard for me to post. But post I will!! I've several manis that need showing off, so let's get to it!
Today's mani was simple but sparkly. It was just two coats of OPI's Anti-Bleak and one coat of My Voice is a Little Norse, also from OPI. My Voice is a Little Norse made Anti-Bleak appear to be darker than it is, which leads me think the base it tinted (not really sure it is or not). Topped with a single coat of Seche.
I wish my pics showed how sparkly it was, but the weather was craptastic today.
Yesterday's mani was definitely more fall like. The base was a gradient created Zoya colors, Emilia, Spencer, and Chantal. The stamped image came from Messy Mansion MM23 and the stamping color was reddish from Mundo de Unas. A coat of Seche sealed it all.
Alrighty, I seem to really be getting the hang of water marbling. Monday's water marble wasn't quite what I wanted, mostly because two of the colors I wanted to use wouldn't cooperate, so I settled for just two colors. Both are from OPI, Anti-Bleak and Suzi has a Swede Tooth. I'll be honest, I freakin' love how this turned, so much so that I couldn't bring myself to stamp over it as part of a weekly challenge in one of the groups I'm in.
Water marble was created over two coats of Alpine Snow and topped with Seche.
Sunday's Stamping Sunday theme was over a purple base color. I opted for a fall color instead of a lighter purple. I chose Zoya Katharine for my base, and it took three coats for it to be even. I stamped over with Mundo de Unas light grey, the image from VL-2 from aliexpress. I wasn't very happy with how it came, I think because of the base.
