Things have been rather crazy and stressful since Thanksgiving; I'll have a post up tomorrow with my other manis, but for today, here is yesterday's 40gnai prompt.
My mani was inspired by one done up by Narmai. The base color is Zoya Blu. Glitter gradient was done using Morgan Taylor Fame Game (China Glaze Glistening Snow dupe!!!). My snowflakes were stamped, not freehanded like hers lol, using Infinity Nails 79 and MdU white.

Here are this week's mani for you :) First up is today's #watermarblepracticewed prompt, inspired by food. I picked one of my favorite seasonal treats, peppermint bark. OPI Alpine Snow was the white base, the marble was created with My Vampire is Buff and Suzi Loves Cowboys, dots are Red Hot Rio; all three are OPI also. Mattified with OPI's matte topcoat.
Tuesday's mani didn't turn out how I planned it. What resulted was this: Base color was Colores de Carol Valor, which is her color of the month for November. The snowflakes came from two plates, Infinity Nails 79 and Chez Delaney Xmas 001, stamped in MdU white and silver.
You can't really see the holo because if the crappy, cloudy weather we had yesterday -_-
For PAA Mani Monday, I chose to do both prompts glitter gradient and silver. The base color is OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI, the glitter gradient is Shine for Me. I really liked how it looked :)
Sunday was my first Chritmas-y mani of the season. Used for this mani were KBShimmer Holly Back Girl and Zoya Quinn. White doves were stamped over Quinn from MdU Christmas 5 plate and MdU white.
For Thanksgiving, I kept it simple. I was not feeling well that day. I used Colors by Llarowe Cornucopia and nine zero Turkey Coma. I think that they went well together.
And, last but not least, is my turkey feathers water marble for last Wednesday's #watermarblewedpractice. Base colors was Zoya Purity. Feather colors were Demetria, Darcy, and Taylor,dots were Nyssa.

Alrighty, let's get to the manis! Today's mani is a prompt for the 30DoCC, neon. The base color is China Glaze Under the Boardwalk, topped with ILNP Phoenix. I had to take a crappy, indoor with a flash pic, because it's been raining here since the day before last. I stamped over it with a phoenix image from Messy Mansion MM27, in MdU neon orange. Truly, this pic doesn't do it justice.
Lemme just say, I LOVE MY PHONE!!!!! It takes awesome photos!

Yesterday's #watermarblepracticewed prompt was tan/beige. I was worried this could end up muddy, but actually, it turned out nice. The colors I used were Zoya Chantal, Chanelle, and Brigitte over Purity. Satin Seal top coat for the satiny effect.
Tuesday's prompt for the 30DoCC was glitter. It's been a while since I last did a glitter gradient, so I did one. Base color was OPI You're so Vain-illa, the glitter was Rose of Light. I've actually been wanting to use these two together for some time, but only just got the opportunity to.

I've been on a holo kick lately; it seems that's all I've been buying. Not that that's a bad thing, I love holos. Monday was my chance to use a new one :) This is Colors by Llarowe Believe in Miracles, August's PotM. I'm also wearing this on my toes for Teal Toes/Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
It's not as blue as my photo makes it look; crappy, cloudy weather the day I wore it >.<

It's been a few weeks since I last participated in a Stamping Sunday; they just haven't been interesting choices to me. This past Sunday's prompt was one I finally liked, and I combined it was the vampy prompt for 30DoCC.
This Chanel Rouge Noir with MdU copper and UberChic UC 1-02 stamped over it.

Friday's prompt was orchid. I was going to use Colors by Llarowe Orchids are Better Than Roses Any Day, because that's a pretty orchid, but I picked Dock of the Bay. Similar color, but a different finish.

I know most of the US is still under a bunch of snow and ice, and Florida has had some exceptionally cool weather recently, but I've been feeling rather springy lately. Don't get me wrong, I adore my dark, vampy colors, but I've been craving lighter colors lately. Let me show you what I've come up with!
Today's mani features a glitter gradient, using Zoya Odette (which is perfect to transition from winter to spring with) and Nails, Inc. Westbourne Gardens. Westbourne Gardens is a new to me polish that I picked up weeks ago on clearance at Ulta. I'll be honest, it's a glitter bomb. It contains pink and white matte hexes in mixed sizes and sparkly gold hexes.
Topcoat was a must for that mani, but sadly, even three coats of Seche didn't smooth it out O.o Not looking forward to taking this off lol.
Yesterday, I sported a new holo from Colors by Llarowe, Sexy Mother. When I first saw it, I had to have it! It's just gorgeous. It was perfection at 2 coats, but it's a stainer. You can kinda see the residual staining on the above pics. I so badly wanted to leave it as is, but I stamped over it to match a skirt I wore yesterday.
The chevrons were from Vivid Lacquer plate VL010, stamped in MdU white, then topped with Seche.
Last week, I picked up some Essies on clearance at a supplier. They were colors from their so called neon collection from last summer. Now, I don't normally care for Essies, because most of the time, the formulas are crap. I deal with it for the few that I love, like Splash of Grenadine and Mint Candy Apple. The "neons" I got for the sole purpose of water marbling with.
Let me say, they do water marble well. Imagine my surprise, though, when the marble dried to the semi matte finish of neons! The colors I got aren't bright enough to be true neons, but they sure want to be! Colors used were:

Thrills & Chills
Over 2 coats of Zoya Purity, topped with Seche, then matted with Essie Matte About You.
For Textured Friday, I finally got around to trying one of the Zoya Satins and one of the last Pixie Dusts I need, Rowan and Godiva. To be honest, I don't think either color do anything for my skintone, but they both were very nice to work with. Two coats was all that was needed for both. Rown, especially, wore very well, considering my job can be rough on my manis.
Thursday was a matte flakie kind of day. Two coats of Zoya Monica with a coat of Essie Sparkle on Top, topped with Seche, then matted with Essie Matte About You. SoT is Essie's replacement for Shine of the Times, although I like SotT much better. The flakies lay better in SotT than the flakies in SoT, plus, they're different colors.

I decided to get this post up before I headed off to work today, since I totally slacked on it last night :P I was just too tired after I finished my mani for today, not that my weekend was that exciting lol.
So, if you've been following along, I've been taking part in a 31 day challenge. Here it is:
Through yesterday, those of us were up to geometric manis. Yesterday was also Stamping Sunday, and I was able to tie the two together. The Stamping Sunday challenge was over a blue base, which pleased me to no end :)
For my blue base I chose Jindie Nails Blue Ivy. It was perfection at 2 coats, then topped with Seche. For the geometric, I chose images from My Online Shop Jr. 4 and 8, stamped in Mundo neon blue, and finished with another coat of Seche.
Friday's theme was floral, as well as being Textured Friday. I picked up a new to me texture a few weeks ago, SpaRitual Wilderness. Wilderness is a pretty, peachy/pinky/orange color. It's supposed to be a dupe for a TJ Maxx/Marshall's only release of Orly Just Peachy. I wouldn't know, as I hadn't seen either around here, and got Wilderness on Ebay.
For my mani, I applied two coats of Wilderness and let it dry thoroughly before stamping over it. The floral image I used came from Fab Ur Nails 14 in Mundo fiusca. I will say that Wilderness wears just as well as Pixie Dusts and Liquid Sands.
Okay, Thursday called for animal print. I can't stand animal print on me, but I went ahead and did it. This gave me the opportunity to show off my newest Chanel that my parents picked up while on their latest cruise. Rouge Noir is a dark, vampy red, possibly the darkest red I now own. I think because of the color I used to stamp over it, the pics show it leaning a little brown, but by itself, it does not.
This mani used only 2 coats of Rouge Noir then a coat of Seche. The animal print came from Vivid Lacquer's VL010, stamped in Mundo Pinon. Finished off with another coat of Seche.
Wednesday was stripes day. Let me just say, I absolutely love the base color I used for this mani. It's Zoya Kiki, and she's such a pretty, bright, blue leaning pink. I did need three coats for opacity, but Kiki is so worth it. The stripes were from Winstonia W205 and stamped in Mundo navy blue. Those stripes almost didn't fit my damned nails, because I didn't get a chance to file them down last weekend and were a little long. Seche to seal it all.
Dots were on for Tuesday. My mani was inspired by one I saw either on Face Book or Instagram, I don't remember which. The base color was 2 coats of Zoya Madeline. I guess you could call what I did a dotting gradient, but I used Zoya Rue and Marney to create the look. Topped with Seche then matted with Zoya's matte topcoat.
Monday was for gradients, and I chose to do a glitter gradient. The base color was 2 coats of Nails Inc. Baker Street. The gradient was done in Nails Inc. Portobello Gardens, then two coats of Seche.
I think the mani I did up for last Sunday is my favorite gradient ever. It was my first time trying a vertical gradient, and a rainbow one at that, since Sunday was rainbow nails. It was also Stamping Sunday, which was stamping with 3 colors. I didn't want to cover the gradient, so I did a different stamping color on each finger.
The gradient colors were all Zoya: America, Sharon, Pippa, Josie, Ling, and Mira, and were sponged over 2 coats of Zoya Purity. Stamped colors were Mundo pink, white, and black, and the images were from Vivid Lacquer VL019.
