Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

Good evening and happy St. Patrick's Day!! Did y'all wear green, or did you risk getting pinched? :P I did, and not just on my nails lol. My dad thought he had me, but I'm too smart for that! Lol

So here's what I did for my nails. I actually really love how they turned out. On my thumbs and ring fingers, I painted two coats of Zoya Josie, then a coat of Zoya Opal, then Seche. On the other fingers, on went two coats of Zoya Neely, then Seche. I then used Saran Wrap and "sponged" on Josie. I stamped over all nails using Messy Mansion plate MM 04 and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes, and topped everything with Seche.

Happy Sunday!

Good evening!

I've got a couple manis to show you this evening, starting with today's Stamping Sunday challenge. Today's theme was, simply, St. Patrick's Day.

The base for this mani is two coats of Zoya's Brooklyn (which is the first of many Zoyas for this week), then a coat of Seche. Stamping was done with Messy Mansion MM 04 and Ulta The Jungle Look, topped with Seche.

Yesterday, my husband and I had a wedding to go to. The dress I bought for it was in a color called deep orchid. Basically, it's this gorgeous magenta color that I fell in love with. I don't normally go all matchy matchy with my manis and outfits, but, well, it happened.

This gave me the opportunity to use Zoya Mason. It wasn't an exact match, but that was all right. Two coats of Mason, a coat of Seche, then stamped over using Mo You Kitty collection 01 and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes, then another coat of Seche.

And, finally Texture Friday's mani :) This featured the only other red texture polish I now own, OPI's Magazine Cover Mouse from last year's Minnie Mouse collection. It's not what I would call a true red, though; it reminds me of the color you find on the inside of a strawberry, with a touch of gold shimmer. Two coats for opacity and done.

Happy Thursday!

Good evening!

Yay, the week is almost over! It's been a bit rough, as I've had a few restless nights' sleep. Hopefully, that will resolve itself soon :) I have several manis I want to show off, so let's get started!

For #throwbackthursday, I picked what I think is the first OPI I bought nearly ten years ago, Blue My Mind. It's well loved, with less than half the bottle left. I love the color, always have, it's one of my favorite shades. My mani was 2 coats of BMM, a coat of Seche, a coat of White Shatter, and another coat of Seche.

My mani for Wednesday featured one the new colors from Zoya's Awaken collection. I used Dillon in a gradient over 2 coats of Wednesday, topped with Seche.

Tuesday, I wore a fabulous new holo from Colors by Llarowe. Orchids are Better Than Roses Any Day was released for Valentine's Day, and was brought back a few weeks ago. I managed to snag it and boy, am I happy I did. It's gorgeous, that's all I can say. Two coats for opacity and topped with Seche.

Not this past weekend, but the weekend before, I gave my mom a pedi with Zoya Taylor. I was very impressed with the opacity and non streakieness of the color, so much so that I had try on myself. Taylor nearly matches my skintone, so I had to make it standout a little. Enter in a new glitter from OPI's Spotlight on Glitters collection, Rose of Light. Two coats of Taylor, one coat of Rose of Light, one coat of Seche.

And, last but not least, is Sunday's baby shower nails! On the thumbs and ring fingers, I did a water marble with Zoya Malia, Purity, and Josie, over 2 coats of Purity. On the others, I applied 2 coats of Jindie Nails' Betti's Fetti Milkshake, then a coat of Seche. I stamped over that using BM H-21 and OPI's Miss You-niverse, then topped completely with Seche.

Texture Friday!

Good evening and happy Friday!

I have for y'all tonight the only other China Glaze texture that I picked up, Sea Horsin' Around from the Sea Goddess collection. It's a pretty, sea green sparkly texture with a bit of a golden shimmer.

The biggest difference between this texture and all the others I own, is actually the texture itself. Sea Horsin' Around is noticeably rougher than the Liquid Sands and Pixie Dusts. Even after wearing it for a day, it was still pretty rough. I will see that it wore very well, with no chips to show.

For my mani, I applied two coat of SHA over a coat of OPI's Natural Nail Base coat. Once dry, I stamped over it using Winstonia W203 and Sinful Colors Endless Blue. My goal was to create a water like effect and I think I nailed it :)

Busy week!

Good evening!

Actually, busy month for me >.< It's been hard to keep track off what's happening when lol. Every time I think I'm on top of posting, I prove myself wrong. Ah, well, at least I'm posting, right?!

Anyways! Let's get started. Today's mani was inspired by another I saw posted; it was called a negative space mani. I'm not sure what that's all about, but it inspired me. My base was a coat of just OPI's Natural Nail Base. I used Scotch tape and OPI's This Gown Needs a Crown and Love. Angel. Music. Baby and no top coat.

Wednesday's mani was a matte flakie mani :) The base was 2 coats of OPI's Incognito in Sausalito (lovely teal blue, by the way!), one coat of Finger Paints' Vivid Reflection, a coat of Seche, and a coat of OPI's Matte coat.

Tuesday's mani was inspired by one the polishes I used, OPI's Minnie Style. I have always loved Minnie Mouse, yet I passed up the two collections released celebrating her. A very close inspection of Minnie Style changed my mind. I never released it had square glitters in it! Of course I had to have it.

The base color for this mani was 2 coats of Zoya Gie Gie. I should have sponged on Minnie Style, but I didn't, and it was a hot, bubbly mess on the fingers I used it on. My thumbs and ring fingers were stamped with images from my Handy 32 plate in CND Vinylux Black Pool. Everything topped with Seche.

And, finally, Monday's mani also featured a new polish. When I first saw swatched of I Love Nail Polish's newest ultrachromes, I just knew that Undenied would be mine. Its shifts aren't as in your face as their others, but the color is gorgeou. My mani only needed 2 coats, then topped with Seche. I stamped over it using Messy Mansion MM03 in Maybelline's Bold Gold, and topped again with Seche.

Stamping Sunday!

Good evening!

Got a quick little post before I've got to get to bed here soon. Today's Stamping Sunday theme called for orange and purple. Yeah, I know, Halloweenie colors, but I managed to pull it off without the mani looking Halloweenie.

All colors used are from OPI. The base was two coats of In my Back Pocket, a coat of one the brand new Sheer Tints, I'm not Amberrassed, then a coat of Seche. The Sheer Tint changed IMBP just the littlest bit, making it more amber colored (to me). The stamped image came from Winstonia 204, stamped in Miss You-niverse. Topped all off with Seche, then made matte with the Matte Coat.

Woops!

Good morning!

I totally forgot to post this last night lol. Got distracted by my Friday night shows and because I was just so tired. I'm glad the work week is over, because it was long, trying one.

Yesterday I wore another one of OPI's Brazil Liquid Sands, You're so Flippy Floppy. It's pretty golden yellow, similar to The "It" Color, but sparkly. I did two, kinda thick coats for opacity (because the Sands for the Brazil collection are kinda sheer O.o), then I stamped over it using Winstonia W-02 and Milani White on the Spot.

I know the third pic a tad blurry, but you can see the sparkly of the Sand :)
