So I think I've finally worked through all the summery colors I've had sitting on my desk, waiting to be used :D Not that I'm quite ready for fall colors, more like ready for fall weather though! I'll still be wearing some brights over the next few weeks, but I'll be interspersing more fall like colors.
Today's mani did mark the last of the new summer colors I'd had waiting, or rather current releases. It featured Zoya Rooney and Harper, two coats of each with a coat of Seche. Rooney is a more blue toned pink, but Harper makes it appear warmer. Not quite like Wendy, but noticeably warmer. I tried Harper over Kitridge, and wow, that was a fail lol, so I took it all off and used Rooney instead, and am much happier with the look.
Yesterday, I did a scaled mani for a group challenge. This featured a color from OPI's Mustang Anniversary collection, The Sky's my Limit. I was so wrong about this color being a dupe for Catch me in Your Net!; it's similar, yes, but not a dupe. TSML only needed 2 coats for opacity, whereas CMIYN always needed at least 3 for me. I stamped over it with Messy Mansion MM21 and Mundo de Unas navy blue, and topped everything with Seche.
Sunday's Stamping Sunday challenge called for using a yellow base. I kept this pretty simple, as I had a birthday party for my nephew to go to the day before and didn't have a whole lot of time to do Sunday's mani.
The base color is 3 coats of OPI's I Just Can't Cope-acabana. The stamped image is from Winstonia W206, the stamping polish Mundo de Unas neon. Sadly, I think the neon pink made my yellow look more orange. Seche, then OPI's matte topcoat to finish it off.
And now for the mani I absolutely loved, the one I did for my nephew's birthday. I really didn't have the time to get elaborate, but I really love how it turned out. All fingers got a base of Zoya Purity, the water marbled fingers 2 coats, all others one. Over the one coaters went 3 coats of Above the Curve's Sugar Rush then Seche. The water marble was created with Zoya Malia, Pippa, and Robyn, then topped with Seche. I stamped over the non marbled fingers with balloons from Winstonia W209 and Mundo de Unas neon blue, neon green, neon yellow, and blue, then a final coat of Seche.

Alrighty, so today's my Textured Friday, and I decided to wear Zoya London. I don't think I had yet to use this as a whole mani, plus it's just such a pretty grey. I would to now find a creme polish in this color. Three coats for this mani and done :)
Yesterday, I ended up with a more subtle than intended look. It started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor's No Way Rose, which you can prolly figure is a rose gold. Topped with Seche and let dry for about five minutes, then I added a coat of Haute Metal Crackle from China Glaze. Another coat of Seche and finished.

Just like many of you, I'm sure, I'm in several different nail polish/nail art groups on Face Book. A few of them do themed manis, one on a particular day, another with a whole week dedicated to it. Today's mani is for the week long mani, and the theme picked for it was galaxy manis.
Okay, something I've never done before. I've seen many gorgeous galaxy manis, but haven't really attempted it. Watched a few tutorials and felt like I grasped the concept lol. It started with a base color of Zoya Raven in 2 coats, then a coat of Seche. Using little bits of sponge, I layered Zoya's Kotori, Sailor, Yummy, and Blu, in that order, over Raven. I added "stars" in Zoya Purity. Over all that, I layered a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust, then a final coat of Seche. I'm kinda on the fence about my attempt, but hey, it was my first try. Be kind lol.
Yesterday's mani was rather simple, more of a swatching since I didn't put any nail on it. I had picked Morgan Taylor's Sarong but so Right some time ago, but had yet to wear it. I honestly don't know why I waited so long because it's a beautiful color. This was just two coats and a coat of Seche.
I skipped out on the Stamping Sunday challenge, because none of the choices interested me :P I decided to water marble with half of the new Zoya Naturel Deux collection and two from the previous Naturel collection. I'm blown away at well these marbled together. This mani lasted me until I changed it up for Sarong, and I might have gotten another day out of it too.
The colors used were Brigitte, Marney, Aubrey, Madeline, and Taylor marbled over Purity. A coat of Seche finished it. Pics are of both hands, first left, then right.

I've got two manis to show you today, both featuring Zoya colors :) For today's Textured Friday feature, I chose to wear Zoya Tomoko. While I still wish Tomoko was more silver, I have to admit it is a beautiful color. Two easy coats and let that dry for about 10 minutes. I stamped over with one of my new Pueen buffet plates, 59, in OPI Pamploma Purple. I absolutely love this color combo! Definitely gave me the effect I was going for :)
Earlier in the week, I happened to be in Pinterest and saw someone I follow post pics of chevron tips with Zoya's Tickled and Bubbly collections. That's where Wednesday's mani comes from. Two coats of Rooney then a coat of Seche. To create the chevrons, I used these stickers I got in a swap last year:
Let me tell you, they made it real easy to create the chevrons. Once I had a sticker straight on the nail, I applied Binx to the tip. I immediately removed the sticker and moved on the next nail. Another coat of Seche finished off the mani.
This mani lasted pretty well; even when I went to take it off yesterday, I had no chips or tipwear. I was quite surprised.
Good afternoon! I hope everyone had a great weekend :) Me, not so much, but it wasn't bad either. I've got 3 manis I want to show, two of which feature new polishes.
Now, anyone that knows me, know that there are certain colors that I just avoid. Browns are some, neutrals/nudes are some, golds/bronze/copper are even more. It seems this year I'm stepping out my comfort zone, because I've bought a few golds, almost an entire collection of neutrals/nudes, and recently I picked up a copper.
Copper, to me, is fairly close to rose gold, so it honestly didn't bother me to get it; I only wish I had known about this color sooner because it's so pretty! Early last month, I came across a Zoya color that I had never seen, Tiffany. Not surprising, since I didn't start buying until 2010 or 2011, I think, and I believe Tiffany is discontinued (at least I think it is, since it's not on Zoya's site). Googled it, had to have it.
Tiffany is a coppery colored foil with a gold sparkle to it. I absolutely love. For my mani, I applied 2 coats for opacity, then topped with Seche. I stamped over it with Messy Mansion MM21 and Maybelline Bold Gold, then topped again with Seche. It reminds me of dragon scales :)
And, I don't know, my camera was being really dumb yesterday and today. Half of those pics had this weird, hazy/shadowy look to them -_-
Yesterday, I did up a bright, fun mani using all the creme colors I own from Zoya's Beach collection. On my thumbs and ring fingers, I watermarbled Reagan, Shelby, Wednesday, and Arizona over a coat of Purity. On my index fingers went Reagan, middle fingers were for Arizona, and Wednesday on the pinkies. Pinkies were dotted with Shelby. Index and middle fingers were stamped with Winstonia W106 and Mundo de Unas neon orange and fiusca. Everything was topped with Seche.
I really didn't want to take this off, I loved it so much.
I know that ^^^^ pic looks brighter than the top one. It was another victim of whatever my camera did, and I was just trying to get it show up better, that's all.
Sunday's Stamping Sunday challenge was holographic. Perfect opportunity for me to use my newest indie, Dock of the Bay from Colors by Llarowe. This polish is just all kinds of awesome! It's a nearly one coater, linear holo multichrome. And the color...... Love it!
For this mani, I applied 2 coats, even though I really could have done with just one, then topped it. Stamped over with Emily de Molly EdM 03 and Mundo de Unas black. Topped again with Seche.
Excuse the awkwardness of the poses, it's my right hand instead of my left because the stamping came out better on that hand, oddly enough.

Good afternoon and happy Friday! It's a snoozy Friday afternoon for me today lol! Had a heavier than usual lunch so now I'm ready for a nap :P
So, I have a few manis to share today, one of them being something of a flashback. I chose to wear today one of OPI's first Liquid Sand polishes, Get Your Number, which also happened to be my first texture. That, in turn, started my obsession with sparkly textured polishes. I love this one so much. Three coats for this mani.
Yesterday, I wore a new to me color that I picked up on clearance at Ulta a few weeks ago, Zoya Freja. Two coats on all fingers, then 2 coats of OPI In True Stefani Fashion on my ring and pinky fingers. All topped with Seche.
Wednesday was another day for glitter (I wore glitter a lot this week O.o). This time, it was 2 coats of Zoya Perrie, then a coat of Color Club's Love You to Pieces that I picked up months ago at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Here's a bottle shot of LYTP:
