So, it's Pink Wednedsay......

And today's mani just didn't want to be done. What I pictured in my head is so not what ended up on my nails. I started last night, and it was nice and dry before I went to bed. Got up this morning and was just not happy with how it turned out. I wanted to stick to what I had planned, pink and flakies, but decided to change up the colors, so off with the original mani and start over.

Got the Nail Envy and the Seche Clear on, and got as far as the second coat of my base color when I see..............


Somehow, without knowing how the f*** I did it, I manage to chip the nail on my right ring finger x.x Needless to say, I was mad. Start over on that nail, and actually managed to finish the whole mani without any other incidents. It still didn't come out quite the way I pictured, the flakies are a little too subtle with this shade of pink I used.

What I did was 2 coats of OPI's Shorts Story, let that dry, two coats of FingerPaints' Asylum (which is full of bluish purple and light orange flakies), topped that with SV, then one coat of Hard Candy's Mattely in Love. I think I found me a new matte coat <3 I think it's nicer than the Essie matte coat I've been using, and it's lesser expensive.

I've been working through what I need to get swatched and am making some progress. I've got a ton of pics to edit and upload here, with still more polishes to swatch. I'm also working on a stash list, which is slow going too, but I'll have that up when it's done!
