Happy Saturday to all! I hope all my American followers had a wonderful holiday, and everyone stayed safe on Black Friday. Me, I worked lol. I stayed away from all those crazy people :P
Today, I'm showing off the beautiful mani I had for Thanksgiving. I'm so proud of how it turned out, and it was such a hit! It's unique, Imo, because I haven't yet seen a true, red candy mani. I've seen one done with a red base color and pink glitter/jelly, but not all three being red. As I reported on my last post, I had the joy of discovering the red I used for that mani was a jelly. I have a red creme on hand, Manicurist of Seville, and a red glitter, Gettin' Miss Piggy with It!, both from OPI.
What I did was this: one thin coat of MOS, 2 thin (as possible for glitter lol) GMPWI, and one thin coat of Candy Cane Lane from Orly. I let each coat dry before applying the next, and topped it all with SV.
See how pretty that is?! I just love it. I may have to do it again around Christmas. Have a great day!
Oooooo I love this - and it looks so good on you!!! I've tried a variation of this with OPI's From Monop With Love (red creme), GMPWI, and a thin coat of Vodka & Caviar (red jelly) on top - not as a full mani though. You've inspired me!! Your nails always look awesome.
ReplyDeleteWow such a beautiful combination!
ReplyDeleteThanks, ladies! It really was easy to create, and I didn't even swatch it first. I just went right to it on my nails and surprised myself at how pretty it came out!
